I didn’t “get into” Web3 marketing.
I created my way into it.
Back in 2021, I was just having fun making gaming content, Web2 stuff.
But I’d been investing in crypto since 2018, so when Axie Infinity exploded, I pivoted fast.
Within months, my YouTube and Twitch channels blew up.
Top 2–3 in the Spanish-speaking crypto-gaming space
That momentum opened doors. I connected with teams behind Star Atlas and Illuvium, started advising, analysing community sentiment, and helping match the right KOLs to the right builders.
4 years in, here I am.
Working as a marketing guy for one of the big names in web3
But here’s the real takeaway:
Your next opportunity won’t come from guessing the trend.
It’ll come from moving fast when your skillset aligns with the moment.
Keep building. Stay curious. And when the wave comes, paddle hard.

THE ULTIMATE CRYPTO MARKETING PLAYBOOK teapawt.org/i/broadcasts/1BdGYZNBj…
It’s been a brutal day for @SeedifyFund and its community, no sugarcoating it
The team’s still grinding non-stop to make this right
But despite it all... I can’t stop but appreciate how inspiring it is to see most of the holders rallying behind @meta_alchemist, who’s spending his time providing every possible update and addressing concerns in the dedicated channels
This trust and support isn’t earned in a day. It’s the result of him grinding day in, day out since 2021
And I’m ready to watch the comeback

Hi @cz_binance a few hours ago our bridge/oft contract got hacked, and hackers transferred minted tokens onto many chains, including BNB, where they sold most of the $SFUND tokens.
Currently they hold more than $1.2M in BNBchain:
0x14181636dd5BC8C6b8b47F8D0fd1b1e351B84bE4
A lot of people in BNBchain got affected by this (64k people), as this is where our biggest holder base is.
We have contacted many chains, exchanges, layerzero, and identified the hacker group, before they can get the funds out of blockchain, can you help us?
It would mean a lot to our community and us, thank you🙏
A normal startup (like most of web3) would always go for direct marketing first
(The kind of marketing that directly tracks ROI, it's not expensive to start with, and you can trial and error)
However here companies are spending money on brand awareness (be consistently in the feed/front... something similar to the touchpoints you mention there)
I'd argue that a tightly timed narrative play is also a touchpoint
especially when we look at the role of trigger events in Web3
- A market pump
- A new listing or announcement
- A major influencer mentioned
These trigger events outperform slow drip marketing efforts in many cases.
The question is, what's the middle ground here?
An important concept that a lot of web3 brands overlook is that of Marketing Touchpoints.
At any given point, most people aren't in the market for your product.
The job of marketing is to stay in front of them consistently, so that when they are ready to buy, you're the first person they think of.
From what I’ve seen, a lot of brands treat marketing like a one-time event a short, intense push where they try to grab everyone’s attention at once.
The problem? That approach only captures the people already looking. You miss out on the rest, the ones who might’ve bought later, if only you stayed top of mind.
Mario inflated the reach with bots. Promoted risky coins. Lied about deals. Still seen as "reputable."
At what point do we admit:
The future of marketing in Web3 can’t be just distribution. It has to be accountability.
Kinda has me thinking,
What if influencers had to stake collateral to promote coins?
Would we see fewer rugs?
Labubu's viral success is replicable, but most Web3 projects won't do what it takes.
Byron Sharp, in How Brands Grow, makes it clear:
When products look the same (as they often do), growth comes from mental availability, being remembered, noticed, and linked to a meaningful context.
Labubu didn't win because of superior product features. They won because they built a world people wanted to be part of.
Aesthetics, emotion, cultural cues, all amplified by consistency.
Web3 keeps saying “we’re early,” but that's no excuse for building forgettable brands.
If you can’t answer:
• What does your project make people feel?
• What’s visually or culturally memorable about it
• Where does it show up in people's minds outside of your Discord?
Then it's just a deck with a token
“Most of crypto is Gen Z and Millennials.”
True.
But not the full picture.
Millennials are in their late 20s to early 40s now. They’re not just scrolling. they’re decision-makers, founders, and allocators.
Gen Z?
More community-native.
More meme-literate.
More likely to see identity as a palette, not a fixed label.
So when we say “market to crypto natives” we’re really speaking to two different brains:
• Millennials want values that scale. Belief systems. Long-term conviction.
• Gen Z wants energy. Cultural fluency. Proof you actually get the internet.
Both generations were shaped by the same market though:
• Saturated with choice.
• Hyper-competitive for attention.
• And allergic to fluff.
If you’ve been in Web3 long enough, you’ve probably noticed something
Lore, scarcity, exclusivity, leaderboards…
We act like it’s new
But none of it started here
It began in the early 2010s, with brands like Glossier, Supreme, and Outdoor Voices
Even before that, Nike made you believe you're an athlete.
Today’s generation, especially in Web3, doesn’t connect with “Here’s our product”
They respond to “Here’s why we exist, and here’s what it means to join us”
Over the next few days, I want to research more about something I’ve been thinking a lot:
Web3 audience buying psychology
Quick question here...
Web3 is great at measuring hype.
Terrible at tracking conversion.
What’s stopping us from fixing this?
Delegating sounds easy…
Until your launch is in 24hrs and someone says
“Hey quick question.”
We don’t talk enough about the emotional side of scaling Web3 teams.
Real ownership is rare, and that’s exactly why it matters
If the money disappeared tomorrow, would you still be in Web3?
No judgment. Just asking.
Because sometimes I wonder if this whole thing is belief… or just liquidity.

If you’re in this ecosystem for more than just quick flips;
You’re gonna want to stay close to teams that won’t crack when it’s hard.
The past few weeks at @SeedifyFund have been intense.
Venture Studio launches.
UGC x InfoFi testing.
Back-to-back IDOs.
And now, gearing up for a permissionless launchpad next month.
It’s been chaotic, but something clicked.
I've never felt more connected to the team.
So if you’re part of the Seedify community, know this:
What’s coming next isn’t hype.
It’s the result of a team that actually cares about shipping.
And you’re going to feel the difference. Soon.
This is a hot take, and one I fight with daily.
Web3 marketing often feels like engagement without proof.
We spend money. We chase mindshare.
But we can’t clearly connect content to conversion, or real noise to value.
I see this even more now that I'm deep into InfoFi mechanics.
In Web2, creators track referrals, conversions, retention. ROI is the game.
In Web3? Every post feels like a financial endorsement.
So tracking is avoided. And fake noise doesn't help.
So we guess.
But guessing isn't strategy.
How can we make things different?
How can we align incentives with actual outcomes
Sometimes it feels like we're just spinning hype wheels...
Hoping they land somewhere meaningful.
The TL is flooded with InfoFi cosplay
Which makes it the perfect time for real creators to stand out
Curiosity isn’t just a feeling. It can be your content engine
Forget frameworks. Answer these instead:
• What do you keep noticing that others miss?
• What fascinates you so much it feels irrational?
• What makes you jealous and what does that reveal?
• What did you sacrifice to go all-in?
Start your story there
Because what grabs your attention... grabs ours too
Mind’s been foggy. Feels like grind mode on autopilot
But here’s what’s clear, Seedify’s not pausing
Macro can get messier. Still, focused on VS launches. @DescipherFund is up next
InfoFi’s evolving from hype to onboarding
If you’ve been drifting, this week’s time to lock in
I'm not gonna act like I know what will happen next with macro, but if things turn bit more sour, we will announce our next Seedify Venture Studio (SVS) projects still, make sure they are well prepared in the meantime and then launch them.
DeScipher having it's first launch ready will be an important key factor too, so users would wanna stake on day 1.
At SVS side we have a few more projects that aren't announced yet, and their products are ready for user acquisition.
Really cool products with distinct utilities, and we want to repurpose our InfoFi strategies not just for attention creation but for user onboarding as well, which will create much more fundamentally strong launches.
Seedify's new launchpad is incoming too with quite unique features.
There is still a big gap in the market that we aim to fulfill:
Which is products with real use cases that start from rather lower marketcaps and make their way to the top through solid products that solve problems and bring revenues.
Seedify is evolving, and whatever happens in macro won't deter us from providing impact and value to many people, projects and ecosystems.
Don't ever lose hope about the future, as we can intentionally create it together.
Brick by brick. Building doesn't stop here.

What we could have done better according to our first observations with p33l launch:
1. We should have sniped less for the postTGE InfoFI & community incentives:
We did this to protect users, and reward them post launch for ongoing marketing, but when price rose so much most wanted to fomo into selling.
2. The claims and airdrops should have been in the first 5 minutes, not after 30-35 minutes after announcement:
This would create a more organic chart with buys and sells balancing themselves and less people wanting to take profits at the first instance.
3. We should have launched on time, here it was partly an MM delay, but still we could have organized everything better there, so they would be more prepared to do this:
With people being there at exact launch time there would be more buyers.
4. The buyer and holder mechanisms should have been communicated much earlier, and should have had some mechanisms not just about postTGE leaderboards but also for future launches.
With better mechanics and communication on them this side would create a much more positive scenario.
5. Day 1 utilities for holding p33l token should be there connected to the project itself, instead of mainly to airdrops and post tge leaderboard incentives.
People should have said this is the reason I'm holding and even buy more in the timeline more.
6. The launch should not have been communicated as Binance only, as most people in the new crowd we marketed towards had different habits.
We thought we would get into Binance Alpha easily confident due to pre-marketing, which would open a more interesting journey.
But we realized this was a risky move later and Ethereum bridge was worked on, but communication and preparation of it was too late. The bridge haven't worked at the beginning of the launch quite well, if we would go for multi-chain decision earlier buyer volume would likely be bigger.
7. We had a manual review system in the beginning for content, which became obsolete with interest, and even tho we coded the agent, had to go through algo changes, point system updates, and cases were some people felt system was working against them, even tho it was a lower percentage.
In the future we have to make this system, TEE based, where agent reviews are immutable and verifiable onchain, with algo being as transparent as it can get, besides the videos (where manual review is necessary with current tech but can become automated one day too). This will take some time and algo updates, but we have to make the system better and better to a standard that everyone is feeling the fairness.
Also for botting we need 3rd party APIs tracking/flagging, instead of manual decisions where the system is faulty to human error.
8. We need to give less and less allocations to those who are there only to take profits instantly and just want to farm the tokens only to move to the next ones.
If most of the people who are in these launches care for these projects to achieve higher metrics, and let projects build on, without causing fud everyone will win bigger. I saw @icobeast especially talk about this issue a lot with InfoFI. We need systems that encourage long term thinking in InfoFI for things to be sustainable and scalable.
9. We should have very apparent utilities for projects, and talk about these more. For p33l that was the satire news agency, co-created IP, merch, and more, but people didn't yet see the direct connection to token.
We could have done better here.
10. Being open to feedback during launches a lot more, and iterating much more quickly instead of being blinded by attention and hype.
We can always improve and almost all feedback (even very critical ones) is there to evolve us.
Can we do better next times? And even make p33l better from here too.
I believe we can.
