Your school French is just the beginning. It's the start of a lifetime of adventure, and stories you never knew you'd tell. It's your invitation to German, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin & beyond. It's a whole world of curiosity, humanity & discovery. The outcomes are yours to craft.

Languages aren’t a luxury. They’re how we learn to listen, experience, and see the world in all its diversity and complexity. Every student should have that opportunity. Languages are essential, because they connect us to people, stories and perspectives we can’t afford to lose.
French 3 & 4 rocked “Four Chair” today. Authentic language, negotiated language, successful learners. @BulldogLife_WHS #nousparlonsfrançais #WHSFrench

If every child came ready to be taught, teaching would be easy. But some need food. Some need supplies. Some need love. Some need nurturing. Some need patience and some to be seen. Teachers meet them where they are as they enter their classroom, and that is most honorable.
I love that I get to work with this team of amazing world language educators. They inspire me every day, and make me a better teacher. #WHSworldlanguages #teaching #gobulldogs @BulldogLife_WHS @WaucondaHS118

When you speak another language, you're not just translating words. You're stepping into someone else’s world. You'll see faces light up, barriers fall and whole new stories unfold. That’s why languages matter. They don’t just open doors; they invite connection and understanding.
