@novakkerri makes a powerful case for #bowelultrasound in Canada. With limited access to MRE and long wait times it’s ideal for making early diagnosis, identifying complications, and monitoring response to therapy. Most importantly it’s helpful to improve patient quality of life - no prep, no long wait for tests, comfortable. Preferable over MRE and CT. And it’s cheap! My view - We need more training opportunities and locations in Canada - still a rate limiting step. And we need some compensation for physicians to do this. #GreatLakesIBD
