Too early for Christmas? Maybe. Too early to plan your Christmas outreach? Definitely not! 🎄😂 We know it's only October, but we also know that churches everywhere are already busy planning carol services, Christmas events and ways to connect with their communities. So, we're getting ahead of ourselves (just a little!) because **the Hope Together Christmas Shop is officially OPEN!** 🎁 From our Christmas Magazine and two editions of Luke's Gospel to *Pip, Amos and the First Christmas*, we've got resources to help you share the hope of Jesus this Christmas. 🎄 Explore the Christmas Shop! hopetogether.org.uk/Shop/Cat… #HopeTogether #ChristmasOutreach #ChurchResources #Christmas2026

Back to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️ Rachel is on the road again – this time heading to join the brilliant women at New Wine Cymru Women’s Leaders. And this trip has a special family connection. Rachel’s grandmother and great-grandmother were Welsh, and her great-grandparents were deeply impacted by the Welsh Revival. Her great-grandmother went on to become a preacher herself – quite literally preaching to the very end (you’ll have to watch to find out just how literally! 😅). So there’s something rather special about returning to Wales generations later to encourage and equip women leading in the Church today. Have a brilliant time together, New Wine Cymru 🧡 #NewWineCymru #WomenInLeadership #WelshRevival #ChurchLeadership #HopeTogether

Some things are worth getting up early for… ☀️ A year ago, the vision for a Gospel created especially for Bromley was being talked about. Today, it’s being launched. 🙌 More than 55 churches across Bromley Borough have come together around a shared vision to help local people discover Jesus – with local photography throughout making this Gospel unmistakably Bromley. We loved joining Transform Bromley Borough at their Prayer Breakfast this morning to celebrate how far that vision has come. Created in partnership with Biblica and Hope Together, we can’t wait to see these Gospels making their way into communities across the borough. ❤️ Here’s to what can happen when local churches work together. #BromleyGospel #Bromley #HopeTogether #LocalChurch #ShareJesus

He was executed for translating the New Testament into English. On 6 October 1536, William Tyndale was strangled and his body burned at the stake near Brussels. His crime? Helping ordinary people read the Bible in their own language. Tyndale had spent years translating the Scriptures into English, working in exile and smuggling copies back into England. His work would go on to have an extraordinary influence on the English Bible. His final prayer is traditionally recorded as: “Lord, open the King of England’s eyes.” And then comes the remarkable part. Within just a few years, English Bibles were being placed in churches across the country — with much of Tyndale’s translation living on in their pages. Nearly 500 years later, many of the English words and phrases shaped by Tyndale are still familiar to us. Today, we can pick up a Bible without thinking twice about what it cost for generations before us to make that possible. So perhaps 6 October is a good day to actually open one. A daring life. A daring prayer. And a book still being read nearly five centuries later. #WilliamTyndale #ChurchHistory #ChristianHistory #BibleHistory #Reformation #TheBible #Christianity #History #OnThisDay #HopeTogether

500 years ago, William Tyndale had a vision: that everyone should be able to read the Bible in a language they could understand. 📖 This summer, we joined Songs of Praise on the streets of Spitalfields to put that vision into action – giving away copies of our Tyndale-inspired New Testament, Ancient Wisdom for New Life. With so many people searching for meaning and asking questions about faith, we want to make it as easy as possible for people to explore the Bible for themselves. 📺 See more on Songs of Praise this Sunday at 2.15pm on BBC One (2.45pm in Northern Ireland). And head to the HOPE Together website to get copies to read and share. #SongsOfPraise #WilliamTyndale #Tyndale500 #GreatGospelGiveaway #HopeTogether #Bible

Christmas is a time of celebration, but it can also be a really difficult time for people who are grieving loved ones or who are reminded of those who are no longer with us. If you are struggling with loss, find support: ataloss.org
