Hamad Mousa at Cal Poly definitely got his name added as a transfer portal target for colleges across the country after his performance against Arizona. The length, shot, and fluidity are enough to get looks from major programs.

The Memphis Grizzlies have either handled the NBAs new Cap Environment so well, or the Ja Morant breakdown inadvertently helped usher in this new era. You see teams like OKC and Denver moving on from real talent with minimal return in order to minimize cap related penalties. This is not as big of a deal, as these teams have won it all. On the other end, you see teams like the Magic, who have built their roster and are financially restricted before seeing any postseason success. Memphis had a good team, made of players that were young enough to still hold value on their current deals (JJJ and Bane). They could have transitioned rather than tear it down, and potentially put together a team that made the playoffs. That said, they were likely not going to be a contender after negative return in a Ja trade, so they decided on tearing it down. Since then, they have made great decisions in the draft, got lucky with some lottery balls, and were able to find mega value with Ty Jerome on his contract. They haven't pushed in their chips on a big trade, but rather letting this team develop. Jerami Grant's contract will expire prior to necessary extensions of their core. Most importantly, they were able to create a team that fit with infinite room to grow. The point of this is, maybe teams are content with moderate success. Teams can be both too patient with a current team and not patient enough in the building stages. In the current Cap Environment of the NBA, you cannot afford that to become a true title contender. In my mind, if you have a team destined for mediocrity, yet valuable pieces, maximizing your title odds means gathering as much value possible and start from close to square one. Note that the updated lottery odds may change this formula quite a bit, leaving quite a bit more to luck than calculated planning.

Milam Momcilovic has been the same prospect for a number of years, yet I don't think the increased age is going to affect his draft stock much. He's really maximized his value in college.

I was high on the Grizzlies, but this team is surpassing even the highest expectations.

Can we just like, stop?
Just in: Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his ailing right knee and miss up to two months, sources tell ESPN.

Brandon Miller getting up shots. At this volume, he's bound to have some really bad games. This was definitely not one of them.

Miami obviously has more avenues to improve due to location, but their assets are drained. Giannis and Bam as the cornerstones were always a tricky fit.

But... but Yaxel Lendeborg doesn't have the same potential as these young guys..

One unforeseen consequence of the JDub and Cason Wallace injuries for OKC is that Ajay Mitchell (and potentially Jared McCain) will have the opportunity to play themselves into a contract that is too expensive for OKC.

At 22-23 year old, Jalen Williams of the OKC Thunder averaged 21.6/5.3/5.1 for the eventual NBA Champions, earning himself All-Star, All NBA 3rd Team, and All Defense 2nd Team honors. In a crucial Game 5 of the Finals, he scored 40 points with a wrist injury that held others out for months. Last year, recovery from wrist surgery, then eventual recurring hamstring injuries limited him throughout the season. In the 7 Game WCF series vs the Spurs, JDub was limited to just one game. This year, he finally felt like himself again. Healthy for the first time in over a year and a half. This is why this injury is so heartbreaking. He's played through everything to help his team, and he finally felt like the superstar that he knows he is. Not only that, but a player still growing into his prime. Nothing short of a fantastic human by all accounts, having to experience the mental battles of recovery rather than playing the game he loves and potentially being a catalyst for not only NBA Championships, but a potential dynasty within this era. Prayers to Jalen Williams for not only a speedy recovery, but the mental strength to overcome this battle and show the world how great of a basketball player he can be.

To think this 76ers team could very easily have Jared McCain is crazy Between skillset and personality, I think he's could truly have been a difference maker for Philly in regard to their Championship odds

All things considered, this may end up being one of the best plays of the year.

When NIL was introduced, I expected the separation of talent to be exaggerated in College Football. This season, that has not been close to the case. The top teams have never felt safe. The playoffs will be incredibly interesting.

An absolute incredible play. One of the best I have ever seen. Amen Thompson take a bow

Jeremy Lin has heated up so much since the 1st Quarter

Honestly good for both sides. Love when the offense and defense both go for the highlight play. Chet beats Braun there
