It’s literally cheaper to buy a prebuilt pc with better specs than the steam machine. Please STFU if you have no idea what you’re talking about lmao. Why are people lying saying it’s too expensive to build a pc or buy one compared to that trash steam machines. It’s wild to me.
I keep seeing people complain about the price, so I’m throwing in my two cents:
I dunno if you knew this, but..
IT IS A PC!!
It’s not a console, it’s far more powerful than that, and far cheaper than literally most pre-built gaming PCs. Hecc, it’s about $200 cheaper than what my hand-built was, and that PC’s 7 years old now! Plus, the Steam Machine can literally be used like a PC, which is incredible!
So
TL;DR
It’s a super affordable PC that’s roughly the size of the GameCube (if not smaller), not an overpriced console. If you say otherwise, I’m gonna cry I swear.
Also: it not including a controller? Yeah, because it’s a PC and (presumably) assumes you have a mouse and keyboard already and maybe a controller. Don’t have a controller but want to play with one? Go to Goodwill and get a wired Logitech one for like $12, it’ll treat you well I promise.
That’s my rant for the year, love y’all 💖🥰

For anyone worried that DLSS 5 will alter the artistic intent of a game, here is the FAQ from the official NVIDIA forum. Devs will have the ability to tune intensity, color, and masking to determine where/how the enhancements are applied to maintain the art style of the game.

Wishing everyone a merry Christmas! 🎅🎄🎁
There was a last minute change in my Christmas plans, and I'm now away from my computer, so the KLAWS update will have to wait until after Christmas.

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary a message from creative director, Al Hope: #AlienIsolation10
ALT To our fans around the world: It’s hard to believe that it has been 10 years since we embarked on our journey with the release of ALIEN: ISOLATION. When we started developing ALIEN: ISOLATION, we had one guiding principle: to create a truly authentic experience that went back to the roots of the ALIEN franchise - a new story capturing the atmosphere and terror of the original 1979 movie masterpiece. It’s been nothing short of incredible to witness your passion for the game over the years and see it reach so many players around the world. On the 10th anniversary, it seems only fitting to let you know that we have heard your distress calls loud and clear. Today, I’m delighted to confirm, on behalf of the team, that a sequel to ALIEN: ISOLATION is in early development. We look forward to sharing more details with you when we’re ready. Once again, thank you. Until next time, Al Hope, Creative Director – ALIEN: ISOLATION

Here's an official, final letter from the editor statement from former-Game Informer editor-in-chief Matt Miller (who doesn’t use this website because he is a smart, sane person).
github.com/P3ti/WinSavage Savage Quest Emulated. Reason I didn't talk about this project. The movement controls are still not 100% and the cat is out of the bag. Love to be able to know how to get inside the .arc file to mod the game or make it better.
