I really have... ๐ด๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ถ๐จ๐ฉ๐ต๐ด... about a new kaiju soundtrack I've heard tossed around Twitter this morning, but I'm not gonna say much of anything about it until AFTER some of my friends have seen the film it's from.
Seriously though?
We're loosing our minds over a violin section run up the E Phrygian scale into a minor second trill?
I know that's a DRASTIC simplification, it evolves a little... but comparing -- This character -- 's theme here to some of his older ones... really?

Might genuinely be the worst Ghidorah theme oat. Genuinely sounds like a broken record if you listened to the full thing on YouTube. Itโs like they tried mimicking the feel of Void Ghidorahโs theme but forgot everything that made that one good.
I had an idea to rank the films in a franchise on a chart, instead of a tier list
X axis - how much I personally enjoyed the movie
Y axis - how well I thought it was made/ how well I thought it accomplished what it set out to, ETC
At least to me, that seems more nuanced & fair

"Such a good girl. Bark for me, little lizard, won't you?" Laz has caught herself in the best tasting pickle she's had the pleasure to have taken an eager bite of. Mojito will surely go easy on her.... right?

Today just keeps getting better and better
I just accidently slammed my head into the door of a drawer above me, and gave myself a nice little gash in the noggin...
Great, just great.
