Wow a black background changes everything.
Pro tip: duplicate your highlight layers, Gaussian blur them about 10-30%, and have them sit on top to add a glow effect.
To make the ground I just duplicated and also blurred the shadow beneath the car and brightened it.

Decided to draw my Honda Fit Sport again now that I have more experience under my belt.
My desire to see my own car as a cartoon kicked off this artistic adventure.
Before that, I couldn’t draw a car for the life of me.

For this piece I went higher-res and a little looser to keep it feeling human, not overly processed.
Really digging how it came out!
Next up: my Honda Fit.
Working on a new art style.
I found myself becoming too sterile, using clean ink lines that might as well have been Bézier curves with perfect precision..
Started to feel too polished and not human enough.
Important to stay human and be let our art show it IMO.
I took a break, but I‘m back and I’m trying something new
