I create free to use and dice-free RPG scenarios packed full of creative ideas and sound design. Also sometimes escape rooms. They/them or he/him.

Back in 2019 & 2020 I ran Australia's first ever sightless escape room. (The honour of the first ever belongs to Access Escape in the UK.) Since then I've turned my game into a website that breaks down what I learned about designing a sightless game: theowljob.com/

After a long slumber, we finally have a new #DreadRPG! Written by Michael Maury, Hollowdale is a horror/mystery set in an abandoned mining town. dreadtower.com/hollowdale/ Michael has written in some fun mechanics like timelines, sanity and symbols on the tower blocks.

It took a while but MGSV is starting to grow on me. I like that I can choose to play as anyone in my squad. This is Hunting Otter and she’s excellent.
Remember everyone, accessibility isn't just a thing to think about on #GAAD. It is something you should *always* be looking into so that as many people as possible can enjoy and experience what you're working on.

Tonight I'm rolling up a tiefling bard who made a deal with a minor devil for musical prowess. They now roam the world in search of the Cohen-esque secret chord that will reveal divinity and allow them to break the devil's contract. Also, they play the bagpipes.

Also this games' shooting controls are a bit too awkward for me to replay, but Second Sight is still worth remembering for the amazing psychic stealth powers. Loved being able to astral project through a laser beam and possess the guard on the other side. youtube.com/watch?v=2TqAukfp…
One of the most unique games out there’s is this stealth/horror/adventure game mashup that’s full of cubist furries and existential dread: Gregory Horror Show: Soul Collector

Now this silly diagram won't be on the final website, but I am hard at work writing up a resource on how to design a sightless escape room from my experiences on The Owl Job. #sightlessescaperoom #escaperoom
Just found a treasure trove Beast Wars YouTube account. It's a bunch of anonymously uploaded animation tests - some of them are SO ROUGH but I love them cause you can see how it grew from the concept. @SirWrender more Beast Wars VFX reacts? youtube.com/user/orion2087/v…

OK I thought this had to be the work of some animator who had found an old hard drive or something mysterious like that. BUT I totally forgotten that DVD extras were a thing that exist/existed. Whoops!

So how are you sleeping? The splits are my least favourite. The only solace in this is that this seems to be pretty common right now.
I'm playing nothing but stealth games these days - and it's the genre that I have the most love for. I went back to playing Thief 1. No other stealth game makes me listen to footsteps quiet so intently. I know where a guard is by whether his footsteps are over carpet or tiles.

For bonus points I'm playing Thief on an original Windows 98 machine.

And although I hate the games' mazes, it's core audio based stealth mechanics are A+++ Plus some lovely environmental storytelling that warns you of traps that befall clumsy/greedy thieves.
Came across this section while re-re-re-proofreading GOD FACTORY and cracked up for about five minutes, thought y'all might enjoy. #amwriting #scifi
