If you found us through the FreeLance trailer, welcome! 🎬
We’re Julien and Justen Turner, the Turner Brothers. Here’s the story behind the show, how we made it independently, and how you can help us make Season 1 🧵

This looks so good
They’re not the same by any means but this kinda reminds of “Bust Down” (great show, RIP Jak Knight)
That pilot took us to Sundance’s 2026 Episodic Pilot Showcase, then Cleveland, Atlanta, Yellow Springs, Denver (Best Director in Comedy at SeriesFest) and multiple fests in LA. A self-funded pilot from Ohio, in rooms we used to only dream about.
Here’s where you come in. We’re doing this independently so we can tell this story authentically.
Every follow (@streamfreelance on IG), share and comment shows the money that this one already has an audience.
So tell us, who wants a full season? 👀
