The best part about following @DrewSav on election nights is the amount of interesting data he sends into my feed, regardless of partisanship. But when it’s not an election night? Random state district voting maps, 007 takes, and questioning pols about Ninja turtles. Love it.

Might be a case of "two wrongs making a right." But I think it's pretty unlikely the LV electorate is far more R than the RV electorate. It's hard to say because we never get a true measure of registered voters versus who actually turns out to vote.

If Hinojosa does in fact come just barely short, there might be a lot of recriminations among Dems after the election about why millions gubernatorial money was spent in *Maine* and not Texas.
Similarly, I am surprised at how little support they've given Wisconsin.

The exchange with Sovereign blew my 14 year old mind. In under 4 minutes it completely recontextualized the story up to that point. To this day I will never skip a line of the exchange during a playthrough.

Becerra is kind of a hero. Very mediocre guy running a lazy and lethargic campaign getting elected in a blowout because it's the right state and the right year.

TX IPEV IMPORTANT COUNTIES:
Day 2 was good for Dems, though significantly less so than Day 1. In 16 counties representative of the state, the implied 2024 partisanship is still well-left of where the first two days of EV were 2 years ago. If I had all of the remaining 238 counties the recalled vote would probably be something like Trump +6 (8 point shift left from 2024).
Best points for Dems: Hispanic voters (Hidalgo, Cameron)
Worst points for Dems: non-college whites (Hardin, Randall) are barely budging. But... their turnout is terrible so far.
Lots of non-voters that are skewing young/nonwhite.
White voters are really punching below their weight even in urban areas.
Indians in Collin/Fort Bend are possibly beginning to pop off in turnout/bluer recall.
More updates will be made - but here is where we are in day 2 of IPEV.

mass effect was a hit series for their time. but horizon zero dawn has sold more copies than the entire mass effect trilogy. that should put things n in to perspective of how high the hill was for the next game to hit. that’s why i was doubtful. it’s a tough case to make today.

This is crazy to me because I feel like Mass Effect had a far bigger cultural impact than Horizon Zero Dawn. Like people had N7 hoodies and shit.
