Half the people here are shameless shapeshifters. You never know what they actually believe, or if they believe anything at all. They live by the motto, "Whatever is trending is true, and anyone who doesn't agree is my enemy."

.@VDHanson just laid out an economic reality that completely blew my mind, and it exposes the biggest messaging failure leading up to the midterms.
While we were all fighting over the races, an economic boom was emerging right under our noses:
“165,000 new jobs were just announced and they were saying 45 a month ago. The poverty rate was at an all-time low at 10.5. The per capita family income is $87,000, a new record. The GDP was just revised at 3.4, and the Atlanta Fed said it’ll be 5 by the end of the year.
Nobody’s talking; we’re just fighting, and we are in the midst of a boom that is emerging. And I look back at 2022 when the red wave dissipated, and why did the blue wave not? So I compared the data.
The stock market, at least until yesterday, was 20,000 points higher now than when Biden stopped the red wave. And income is $14,000 higher than it was just four years ago.
So then people say, ‘It’s inflation. It’s gas.’ Well, no, it isn’t, because that was a 9.1 record inflation year in 2022. And gas on election day was somewhere between $3.95 and $4.05… It’s $4.06 today.
So what I’m getting at, the economy was a wreck. The GDP was lower, the inflation was three times higher, the gas was about the same, people were furious… what was the difference?”
Gas prices will inevitably come down and everyone screaming about the Iran conflict and immaturely blaming midterm results on the Iran war and gas prices and who lashed out self destructively like idiots will have deep regrets about what they did electing democrats.

Trump is correct. We didn’t show up. Are there reasons to be let down and discouraged and even angry? Of course. But electing socialists isn’t a win. It’s not a better alternative. It doesn’t fix a single complaint.
Trump has been talking down to the American people for his entire second term, something he never did in the first. It started with the Epstein debacle. Now that he’s losing and unpopular, he’s going to point the finger at his own citizens with no concern for what his meltdown will do to the future of the conservative movement or the Republican Party. It’s going to get worse and uglier. The worst thing conservatives can do now is feel any obligation at all to defend this bullshit. It’s indefensible and we all know it.
Even Eric Swalwell would have won in California. There’s no such thing as a bad, toxic candidate to leftists. It’s only true on the right.

Republicans still don’t get it. One of the major reasons they lost is the failed public education system, & their refusal to confront it.
We’re now witnessing the consequences of that failure play out at the ballot box.
Consider Talarico’s statement: “They elected me to deliver for them to make their lives easier and better and less stressful.”
While that may sound nice, that’s not why government exists, nor is it its purpose.
Government doesn’t exist to make our lives easier, better, less stressful, etc. Government exists to protect rights, not provide comfort.
Yet, Americans have been conditioned to believe that government is responsible for everything, including alleviating every hardship & providing for their every need.
This is what happens when we abandon civic education and replace it with an ideology that elevates government over the individual.
And Republicans still fail to recognize the significance of education as they ignore the institutions responsible for shaping the next generation of voters.
🚨 JAMES TALARICO JUST NOW: "I am not interested in retribution. The people of Texas did not elect me last night for retribution."
"They elected me to deliver for them to make their lives easier and better and less stressful and that's what I plan to do and I plan to do it even for the Texans who didn't vote for me. It's why I'm here on Fox News the morning after."
Talarico is up +12 points right now in Texas. The Texas GOP got utterly WIPED OUT statewide
And Talarico is clearly trying to set things up so the state remains blue.
A huge hole to dig out of.

Everyone blaming Trump is missing the point and should be ashamed of themselves. He is our leader against the forces of madness -- and a large part of why we lost last night is because of lunatics like Tucker and MTG and Massie who tried to peel away his followers, as if THEY had better solutions. They are like Horatio Gates and Charles Lee who backstabbed Washington when things looked bad in late 1776. They refused to help him, hoping he would lose so that they could rise. THEY FAILED. And were ultimately humiliated. In the meantime Washington and his men suffered bitterly but fought on and on, praying that God would be with them, knowing that He was their only hope, because it was His battle and His cause, and they were obliged to fight on in that cause, knowing the ultimate results were in His hands. Samuel Adams and John Adams and many others never lost faith in the Sacred Cause and KNEW that if they fought on and prayed God would be with them. The United States did not come into the world because of people who were mostly concerned about gas prices. It came into the world because patriots loved liberty more than their own lives, who were willing to do the right thing and trust God with the results. Many sat on the fence as Washington and his troops suffered -- and many opposed him openly. We have many like that today, but in the end God needs his Gideon's 300 to fight on and do what is right. Are you part of that 300? Jesus is always and ever our only hope, and He calls us to fight for what is right as we look to Him. Just because things look bad now doesn't mean God has abandoned us. If you care more about gas prices than liberty and truth and justice, you're part of the problem. May this dark moment drive us to our knees in repentance and prayer to the One Who is our only hope, Who is the Author of Truth and Liberty -- and America. And may it lead us to political and cultural actions that restore our nation to the liberty we have lost. God has chosen President Trump for this hour. Pray for the nation and trust God to lead us on.

Not thrilled with some of the Republican candidates.
All the Dem candidates for the same positions are awful, even frightening. This ain't your dad's Democrat party.
I vote straight R because the alternative is so much worse.
Go vote. Then pray. Let's see what happens tonight.
