Blockspace: Connecting the world to Ethereum. Proud to help drive this organization. After working on a non-profit supporting Ethereum for the last few years, I am very excited to drive a commercial effort whose direct success comes from a thriving Ethereum. The ticker is ETH.

PAMMs are streaming quotes throughout the entire slot and without latest bid they will either have to quote much wider or save their quote for the very last moment
As part of Gloas, clients are considering adding the option to select the highest bid per builder per slot instead of last. We strongly advocate for not providing this option & encourage proposers & responsible builders to also advocate for this position. blockspace.forum/takes/keep-…

100k transactions down.
1/ More than 100k user transactions have now been included through MPBC, saving users 334 hours of waiting time. This comes just two weeks after MPBC passed the 50k transactions included through MPBC.

I’m in favour of this change. Locking on the highest bid is myopically rational for the validator, but using the latest bid induces the better market. There are many pieces of code in the validator client that are there not because the validator benefits (in fact, it may cost them) but because client code is the best approximation we have to enforce norms that are not observable by the protocol. This is one of them. (Yes this is a nod to an old piece ;) barnabe.substack.com/p/seein…)

Caution those supporting highest and not latest. Short-term gain for long-term pain.

One of the promises we made when building @Commit_Boost was to help ready the out-of-protocol infrastructure during hard forks. Here we are, ready to rumble.
1/ Glamsterdam is coming to Hoodi next Monday and every validator will have to upgrade their software. Commit-Boost is fully ready for Hoodi testing. With that in mind, here’s a guide and three questions you should be asking yourself. 🧵 hackmd.io/@thUuBZa2ScW2i3kFb…

More transparency than today's single party block construction process. Check this out.
1/ MPBC now supports Inclusion Tracing. This means that users can check how transactions eligible for MPBC are handled by operators. This feature is from conversations at the Blockspace Forum, and a step towards transparent UX that goes beyond single-party block construction.

ePBS was sold as the upgrade that kills the relay. Now it's more about pipelining and scaling. In this episode of Credible Commitments I chat with @mikeneuder who distills ePBS, PropAMMs, ETH issuance, and the upcoming NBA season.

From Hoodi testing to mainnet. Good to see this one ship! We tested bid streaming and shared feedback with @Commit_Boost during development. Proposers can now receive multiple bids over a streaming connection during their slot. Congrats to the team! 👏
After working with proposers and incorporating feedback, Commit-Boost users can now be "peaked and tuned" with bid streaming. This upgrade, supported by MPBC Operators, brings improved stability, increased competition for block bids, and more robustness to Ethereum. Details 👇

Have a listen. A couple of reflections on life learnings, but I also highlight MPBC! Thank you @apriori0x for having me. Generally, I would highly recommend subscribing to and listening to the Credible Commitments podcast, one of the best out there today!
Distributed block building has always been Ethereum's prophesied endgame. Multi-Party Block Construction puts a piece of it on mainnet today. New Credible Commitments with @DrewVdW — we catch up on the PBS pipeline including Commit-Boost and ePBS. Then we introduce @Blockspace_ETH and their new initiative MPBC.

Out-of-protocol infra helped birth ePBS. It's here to stay and the trustless floor ePBS brings only allows it to flourish more. Commit-Boost will keep shipping! 📻🪿
We have been getting a bunch of questions on Commit-Boost and ePBS. Commit-Boost is here to stay. And, generally out-of-protocol infra will continue to complement the block building supply chain post-ePBS. Stay tuned for more updates. 📻 hackmd.io/@thUuBZa2ScW2i3kFb…

Don't let others tell you otherwise. Even the core devs driving most of ePBS agree with this post. Commit-Boost is here to stay. Out-of-protocol will still have its place.

If you know or have met Ken, you can appreciate this tweet. If you don't, it is someone like him who I think of when I think of a passionate home staker and Ethereum lover.
This is not a new idea. I saw presentations on issuance reform as early as Devcon Bangkok and again this year in Cannes. The problems of unbounded stake growth and dilution have been known for years. IMHO (as a home staker and supporter of Ethereum), EIP-8361 is a minimal, market-driven response. Regardless of your position, I encourage everyone to engage seriously with the reasons and justifications behind this proposal rather than reacting viscerally and attacking the contributors for raising a difficult but important subject.

🚨 New EIP: Tapered Issuance Burn We just submitted an EIP to ethereum/EIPs: a minimal, market-driven fix to Ethereum's issuance policy removing the incentive for stake growth beyond 50% of ETH supply. EIP-8361 by @pintail_xyz, @jdetychey, @dapplion, @pa7x1, @ladislaus0x & @drakefjustin 🧵
