Funny how everyone is blaming Gambhir for Kohli retiring, when any top foreign coach would’ve made the same call. Look at his Test numbers from 2020 onwards… it wasn’t “dropping a legend,” it was correcting a below-average run that went on for years. People forget this isn’t 2016 Kohli. He’s turning 37 and the decline was obvious. But sure… keep pretending it was all “personal issues” instead of performance.

When Sachin and Kambli stitched that 664 run partnership which made them overnight stars a certain Amol Mazumdar waited for 2 days with his pads on for his chance. What he didn't know was that this would go on for 2 decades because even after raking up more than 11 thousand first class runs he never got the chance to don the blue jersey.
