What exactly makes one of Europe’s most exciting tactical minds an unlikely candidate for a club desperate to rediscover its identity?😓😓 Nagelsmann has the tactical intelligence, modern football philosophy, flexibility and experience at the highest level that Manchester United desperately needs. His work at Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and with Germany demonstrates his ability to develop players, build structured teams and compete at the highest level. United don’t need another sentimental appointment or another experiment based on familiarity. They need a manager with a clear vision, tactical authority and the personality to build a team capable of challenging Europe’s elite. Nagelsmann is not an unrealistic dream. He is the kind of ambitious appointment a club of Manchester United’s stature should be exploring seriously. The real question is not whether Nagelsmann is unlikely. It’s whether Manchester United still have the ambition to attract a manager of his calibre. If INEOS genuinely wants to restore this club, they must stop thinking small and start making decisions worthy of Manchester United.
🚨😳 - JUST IN: People close to Manchester United view the appointment of Julian Nagelsmann as UNLIKELY. [@lauriewhitwell]

TO THE MANCHESTER UNITED BOARD AND OWNERS: STOP DELAYING THE INEVITABLE! Every additional day Michael Carrick remains in charge is another day Manchester United loses valuable time. After the 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth, the questions surrounding his appointment, tactical identity, team selection and ability to lead this club cannot be ignored. Manchester United is not a rehabilitation centre for struggling coaches. This is one of the biggest clubs in world football, and the manager must demonstrate that he has the ideas, authority and tactical intelligence to take the team forward. You dismissed Ruben Amorim while the club was still rebuilding, despite the structure and identity he was trying to establish. Now, what exactly are you waiting for with Carrick? Another embarrassing defeat? More points dropped? More excuses? INEOS and the Glazers must stop allowing sentiment, politics and personal relationships to dictate football decisions. The club needs accountability, not another prolonged experiment that could cost us an entire season. If Carrick is not the right man, sack him NOW and begin the search for a permanent manager with a clear football philosophy, strong leadership and a proven ability to compete at the highest level. Manchester United cannot afford another managerial mistake. Every week of indecision makes the situation worse!!!

I once dated a man who wants to snack even when I'm on my period. I informed his friends and they all promised to talk to him. Guess what they did instead, they

You’re too emotional when it comes to football. Two losses and you won’t stop complaining. This same Barcelona team has been winning consistently. Yamal is only 19, yet he’s already achieved almost everything. For me, he’s still the best player in world football, but he needs time to mature and learn to rise to the biggest occasions. This boy has been dominating matches since he was 15, entertaining football fans around the world. Surely, he’s allowed to have one or two bad games! Cut him some slack. Yamal is simply a victim of his own incredibly high standards. I’m sure you will start saying he’s the best player in the world if he performs in another big match again. Be consistent!
If I hear anyone try to say Yamal is better than mbappe eeen,we'll fight!! He can never come close to mbappe not to even talk of saying he's better than mbappe, I'm a Barcelona fan but I'll always talk true, mbappe is 100times better than lamine yamal!!

Chima didn't k!ll Mmesoma. I will explain! Chima Ofoeke laboured for years and invested it all on the love of his life who happens to be Mmesoma, he believed they have a future together because she reassured him, she made him believe she loves him. Chima bled himself dry ensuring she is okay, worked extra hours when he should have rested. He allegedly sponsored her sewing training, financed her education in the University, bought her sewing machines and funded her lifestyle. When Chima wanted to marry her he found out he has been scammed by Mmesoma. She made him insane and that led to her d£ath. Now the society is calling for his head because he didn't commit suicide like many other victims of Nigerian women's romance scam. If Chima had committed suicide will the case be the same as now? Chima Ofoeke is victim of romance scam. Chima is NOT GUILTY. He is innocent until proven otherwise and his counsel should give notice of his affirmative defense of temporary insanity. Chima didn't k!ll Mmesoma, temporary insanity did. Caused by Mmesoma, she had it coming. We must pay attention to the high rise of romance scam in our country which is the major cause of 98% of the suicide cases of men. In a country where an average citizen is faced with severe hardship, it is a high level of injustice making them victims of romance scam. Mmesoma's phone should be downloaded and investigated, all her accomplices be arrested and charged with the maximum sentence they deserve. Romance scam is a criminal offense in our country Nigeria under Criminal Code Act (Section 419). The law must be enforced, Chima did the society a favour. He saved more men who could have become Mmesoma's victims and probably commit suicide. Justice for Chima Ofoeke!
Your honour, we are gathered here today because Mmesoma committed one of the most serious crimes we overlook in this country that has driven many of the victims to commit suicide, that crime is romance scam. Mmesoma made my client believed she loved him, she made him believe they were in love and my client sold everything he had for 5 years, he sacrificed everything for her even deprived himself sleep working extra on his rest days and the opportunity to invest on himself. My client invested heavily on Mmesoma because she made him believe they both have a future, at the end he realised he was scammed by Mmesoma. She drove him crazy your honour, my client would have committed suicide of which Mmesoma would have walked freely in our society but somehow miraculously my client didn't commit suicide. Your honour, if we can proceed to bail, my client is not guilty, his blood temperature was not taken and bail is a function of flight risk and danger to society. Mmesoma had it coming by engaging in a romance crime with my client who lives in a country where an average citizen is already crazy by going through a lot of hardship with life expectancy below 60. Your honour, at this time we would like to give notice of our affirmative defense. JUDGE: which is? INDISCOV: Temporary insanity DISCLAIMER! this is not to encourage murder but to educate. As someone who studied law, this is a strong argument. I only need strong evidences too including messages, receipts of payments, things he purchased and many more. Court works with evidence not emotion, he can be freed. As for the young foolish man, he can't afford the best lawyers for this kind of defense and i will never represent him in such case. I hope he rots in jail forever. SAY NO TO MURDER!

Delaying the inevitable only makes the job harder for the next manager with every passing game. The longer we keep dropping points and losing matches, the less chance there is of salvaging anything from this season. And by the time the new manager arrives, expectations will still be sky-high, despite him inheriting a situation that’s almost impossible to turn around. Then the fans turn on him for ‘underperforming’, and the cycle starts all over again.

When Mbappé and Yamal started doing interviews and pushing PR campaigns, I had a feeling they might lose the Ballon d’Or. Harry Kane was wise enough to stay silent, humble and focused. To every talented young footballer dreaming of winning the Ballon d’Or, my advice is simple: leave the Premier League, that league is too serious and will never allow you to express yourself. You can only come back as a superstar. Congratulations to Harry Kane once again.

Since the return to democracy in 1999, Lagos Island has been one of the strongest and most reliable base of the ruling party - from the AD to the AC and ACN, and now the APC. Yet, despite decades of support, our people continue to be deprived of basic public services like potable water, effective sanitation and waste management, affordable housing, and meaningful job opportunities for young people. But this time, I have been greatly inspired by the courage of young people who are determined to chart a different course. They want a government that does not take their support for granted, but one that is accountable, delivers essential public services, and invests massively in human capital development. My administration will restore the pride of Lagos Island and bring back its glory days. Our people deserve nothing less. #OurLagos

Today, we held a series of party activities, beginning with the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, followed by the commissioning of the new national secretariat of our great party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). I had the honour and pleasure of commissioning the secretariat, with the support of our presidential candidate, His Excellency Peter Obi, CON, his running mate, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, CON, the National Chairman and other leaders of our party. This evening, we also formally inaugurated the National Campaign Council of the NDC and presented certificates to our candidates at a dinner. These events showcased the strength of our party and our determination to compete and win elections at all levels, from the presidency to the State Houses of Assembly. In my remarks, I thanked Almighty God, reflecting on how this party began. I also thanked our presidential candidate, his running mate, all our candidates and aspirants for believing in the vision of the NDC. I expressed my appreciation to Nigerians for their encouragement, prayers and support, as well as to our members, state chairmen, members of the National Working Committee and the NEC, whose sacrifices have contributed to the party’s growth. When we started, many people did not give us a chance. As I said, in every struggle, first, they ignore you; then they mock you; then they attack you; and eventually, you win. That was the quotation attributed to Mahatma Gandhi that I referred to in my remarks. Those who initially ignored and mocked us can no longer afford to do so. We have reached the stage of attacks, but we remain resolute in our determination to succeed. I therefore call on all our members and candidates to remain resilient and conduct issue-based, violence-free election campaigns. For us, the question is simple: Are the lives of Nigerians better today than they were in 2015, when the APC took over, or even three and a half years ago, in 2023? Are Nigerians safer? Every election, and every attempt at re-election, is a referendum on the ruling party and its government. This is the question we are taking to Nigerians as we prepare for the 2027 elections. One of our principal objectives in building the NDC is to establish an institution that is bigger and greater than any one of us, an institution that will endure for posterity. We are determined to set standards and build a party that is accountable to its members and the Nigerian people. I thank all those who have contributed to this vision, particularly our aspirants and candidates who purchased nomination forms and made donations. Their contributions are sustaining the party. I do not earn a dime from the NDC. My role has been to provide guidance, help build standards and promote transparency. Today, the NDC unveiled another uncommon initiative by publicly declaring its revenue. By the end of this year, a formally audited account will be presented to the NEC, the public and the relevant institutions of state. Without the sacrifices and financial contributions of our members and candidates, this party would not have come this far, especially given that we started without substantial financial resources. I thank them for their partnership and confidence in our mission. My message to all our aspirants and candidates is that they must work with the party. They are not contesting as independent candidates. The party is like a horse. Let us strengthen, nourish and train it so that whoever rides it can ride it to victory. I also call on INEC and all relevant government agencies to sanitise the electoral process and work towards delivering free, fair and credible elections in 2027. The outcome must be credible and acceptable, including to those who lose.
