The film “Gleichgeschaltet - Germany against the Palestine Congress” now has its own Twitter presence with film updates and relevant context - I will be grateful if you could follow and help others follow as well:

And after last week I can also add that the incredibly dangerous way in which the Left Party Berlin @dielinkeberlin has thrown Palestinians under the bus, helping portray them as criminals and terrorists in the media and endangering their lives, has made those feelings stronger.
"I've lived in Germany for 21 years," says @DrorDayan.
"Never have I felt as connected to the history of my family as people persecuted by the Nazi regime as I have in the last three years seeing Germany persecuting Palestinians and their comrades."

In 2024, German authorities deployed thousands of police officers and to shut down a conference in Berlin exposing Germany's political and military support for Israel's genocide in Gaza.
A new documentary by @DrorDayan, "Gleichgeschaltet," details those events and the wider system of German repression that produced them.
Was a great honour to discuss “gleichgeschaltet” and Germany’s support of Zionism as a way of returning to its old fascist ways on the live stream of the fearless Electronic Intifada. Thanks to all the comrades for the discussion (from minute 45).

If there’s any doubt, Haaretz op-eds this morning already preemptively gushing about how a victory for the “block of change” would rehabilitate Israel’s image globally tells you everything you need to know about the election. Go King Bibi
This is 100% the correct and best strategy. And as a side note, works just as well for small local groups as it does for national parties. The Greens are looking more and more serious by the day.
🎥 “We want to go the Farage route, not the Lib Dem route.”
Ashok Kumar of Greens for Palestine spoke to Novara Media about strategy behind the Green Party’s “Zionism is racism” motion, which took a year to organize and was designed to expose Labour’s politics. He said PM Andy Burnham’s response revealed him as little different from Keir Starmer.
Inspired by Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s France Unbowed and its “strategy of conflict,” the idea is to set the terms of debate, provoke a backlash, and heighten contradictions to force opponents to reveal positions.
Rather than chase more MPs by moderating its politics, Kumar says the Greens should use confrontation to shift the debate leftward and become an anti-establishment force.
“We want to drag [the paradigm] to the left kicking and screaming.”

This is great. What an amazing resource
When we organized our own podcast at the GSC, we wanted to build an archival tool, a library of sorts. You can easily highlight parts of the transcript and make audio clips like this to share, do in-depth searches, and more. A thread 🧵 podcasts.goodshepherdcollect…

UPDATE: The EU Council sent me a letter with its decision NOT to lift the sanctions on me. That means at least another year under sanctions.
The reasons they give should be a warning to everyone about where European authoritarianism is going.
Britain will do anything to protect what matters most: factories of Israeli child murdering tools.

Great to be back on @east_podcast for this brilliant discussion about German Imperialism, repression of solidarity in Naziland and my recent film “Gleichgeschaltet”, which is now available for screenings:
