In 82 years of record keeping, #PDX had never recorded more than a trace of snow in April. That ended today. Looking out the window, it appears there will be more than 0.1 inch when all is said and done.
ALT First measurable snow at PDX in April occurred today! 0.1 inch has fallen thus far. Weather records have been kept at PDX since 1940. Note: A trace of snow has occurred at PDX several times in April. Measurable snow has occurred downtown on a handful of occasions in April, most recently in 1936.
