Democrat Adam Hamilton will flip the Kansas Senate seat, ending a 94-year Democratic drought, CNN projects. It's a seismic defeat of Republican Sen. Roger Marshall in a deep-red state. CNN's Kylie Atwood reports from Overland Park, Kansas, as the crowd erupts in cheers from Hamilton's campaign headquarters.

.@DavidNdii says Kenya has no milk shortage. Apparently, demand has just risen so much that supermarkets are running out of milk.
And who's drinking all this milk? He says watu wa mjengo at affordable housing projects.
David Ndii argues that Kenya is not experiencing a milk shortage but rather a surge in demand:
β Annual milk production rose 20% between 2022 and 2025 to ~5.6B litres. Says that the increase alone exceeds the annual milk production of 90% of African countries.
β Milk intake by processors rose 34% to ~1B litres annually, although formal processing still accounts for only ~20% of production.
β Processed milk intake in JanβAug 2026 was just 1% below 2025 levels, despite the drought.
β Despite rising supply, supermarkets continue experiencing stockouts, which Ndii attributes to stronger consumer demand.
β Ndii cites affordable housing construction sites, where contractors provide milk to workers, as one source of growing consumption.
β Kenya's annual milk production is worth ~KES 400B at farm-gate prices, while quality dairy heifers fetch KES 300Kβ350K.
β Ndii argues that official statistics may be missing significant economic activity as Kenya's economy undergoes rapid structural changes.
The chicken seem to be in for roosting w.r.t the MPC and it's delayed decision to raise the CBR.
It's that mexican standoff where they have to decide whether to pull the plug on inflation, interest rates, private sector credit, debt service and/or the NSE. In an election year.
