💚✨ A five-star opening night! ✨💚 Last night’s opening of Shrek the Musical was a triumphant celebration of everything that makes Dunottar special. From the moment the curtain rose, the audience was transported into a world of humour, heart and happily-ever-afters (with just the right amount of swamp). The energy, commitment and talent shown by our pupils — on stage, backstage and in the band — was nothing short of magical. This whole-school production is a reminder that when we come together, we can create something extraordinary. To everyone involved — bravo!

🌟 Dunottar’s First Ever Café Scientifique – A Night of Science, Music & Community! 🌟 On Wednesday 26th February, we transformed the Sixth Form Common Room into a buzzing café culture for Dunottar’s inaugural Evening of Café Scientifique. ☕🔬🎶 With Mel’s delicious drinks and snacks keeping everyone fuelled and the smooth jazz sounds of Millie and Anya setting the mood, our audience of students, parents and staff enjoyed an inspiring line-up of science talks. 🎤 Hosted with flair by Filipe, our incredible speakers took us on a journey of discovery: 🌊 Adam kicked things off with an entertaining dive into Deep Sea Gigantism 🚀 Visiting Professor Hal Sosabowski took us through space and the history of the universe 🎼 Anya explored the fascinating link between music and the brain 🌊 Caroline Hague closed the evening with an awe-inspiring talk on how science helped her row across the Atlantic Ocean with two other women! It was a fantastic evening of science, music, and community, and we can’t wait to do it all again! 🙌 A huge thank you to our brilliant speakers, musicians, and guests for making it such a great night.
