Like, here I’m a card carrying Egwene hater. There I almost feel like a negative leaning moderate.🤣
One of the weirdest feeling effects of the IRL time period Wheel of Time was written in, is just that the single most common ter’angreal in the AoL were… dumb phones. It’s just… 😅🤷♂️😂
On a vaguely related note, one of the more basic areas in which I tend to just ignore an event from the later books, is just head canoning Nicola still being alive.
All that development, wasted on a random casualty. Not like her death even really amounted to much story-wise.🤷♂️
Not exactly in a rush to save the show personally, but should it move to another streaming service… like come on, my vote would be Disney Plus just due to how well the logos mesh.😂🤣
To me, the cancellation is a melancholy moment, but said is more about all the things the show was never going to give us in the first place, then the loss of what the show would have actually handed us had it gotten that far.😑

I've said it a million times already, but again, there's no bloody point in the show trying to "setup" her "motivations" for doing The Thing, if it doesn't even bother to setup the bond as capable of compelling Warders in the first place. It's just a shit effort from the show.🙄

To be frank, Moiraine would herself kill Siuan at *least* three more times before she'd willingly leave Rand's side in order to go off and mentor Egwene.
Like, the only way THAT'S happening, is if rebels camp is sharing Rand's HQ, which... would be REALLY bloody weird.😅
So… did Gawyn just dodge a PTSD bullet due to the lack of any large scale fighting? Is the show actually going to give us happy go lucky himbo puppy Gawyn for the duration?😅😁👍
Also, it's been said a thousand thousand times, but... with at *most* 8 seasons, S1 was basically the ONLY season the show that had the luxury of focusing on adapting 1 book if the show was even *remotely* serious about doing the whole series.😑
We're now 3 in, and ALL of them as yet have tried to focus on mainly adapting 1 book. With only 1 of 4 books so far "kinda" skipped, and even then with the apparent intent of looping back around to do some of what it missed from it.
A funny thing about E8, is just... like either the show is effectively throwing the Ring's reliability into the rubbish heap, or even after that fight to cap off the season, Moiraine is *just* gonna die next season anyway. Likely in yet *another* battle with Lanfear.🙄
Might be giving the writers too much credit, but does the more generalist wording of Mat’s request means that the shows foxhead is going to counter more than just the OP?🤷♂️
I do kinda wonder what diplomatic relations between the AoL nations and the Finn were actually like. They’re presumably the ones that forged the peace treaty, but their philosophical stance seem kinda… clashing.😂
Now that the season is done, I can definitely say that most outright meme of S3’s *many* cases of colorisms was that one Aiel in the taking up the spear scene.😂
