Was leaving the press box yesterday and watched the restart next to the fence to begin Stage 3. Being that close was an adrenaline high, though I was also scared as shit.

Oh, no… I’m upside down…
That was not a good moment, but I can’t thank the safety crew enough. They did an amazing job flipping the car back over. The last time I flipped, the bars crushed on my head. This time, I don’t think anything caved in or crushed at all. I appreciate what @NASCAR has done and thank you again to the @TALLADEGA safety team for getting me out of the car safely and quickly. There were some vicious hits in that pile up. I’m just happy to be alive.

So proud of our Crew chiefs, spotters and analytics team for having the guts to make this stage 1 strategy call at Talladega
TBH- It’s only my job to make suggestions and support them if it went wrong. They get to make the calls and they deserve the credit.

#NASCAR - RFK Racing stunned the field by going all out and leaving the field 40-plus seconds behind.
Ryan Preece says they came up with it on the fly.
"That was pretty badass, huh?"
He's pumped because they thought outside of the box.
"We ruined people's days."
