Haven't jumped into DMZ yet but I keep seeing people begging for a PvE mode. Same story every time. Lots of us just want to loot, run objectives and hang with the boys. Give us the toggle and let the PvP guys keep their lobbies. Room for everybody. Is this that controversial?
9 days til WoW: Forever. Still haven't picked a main and I'm running out of excuses. What are you rolling day one?
Battlefield threw a 16 player PvE mode in for Halloween. Embark tested one in ARC Raiders and got 30 million rounds. DMZ guys are begging for one. At some point the suits have to notice the pattern right? PvP lobbies stay. Just give the rest of us a door too.
Old dude, limited time, still raiding. ARC Raiders now, WoW: Forever on Nov 4. What's the one game you always make time for after work?
🤖 Made with AI
Embark said dad gamers out loud and half of X lost its mind lol. Look man I've got limited time. Like many gamers these days. I'll shoot back if you shoot first. Would rather we were all just cool. I just don't want to lose my whole run to a dude camping extract. Room for everyone in Speranza.
ARC Raiders developers say "dad gamers" were a major reason behind testing a PvE-only mode.
Embark Studios noticed a growing number of players enjoying friendly servers without PvP, especially casual players who just want to complete objectives without dealing with extraction campers or heavily geared opponents.
The decision sparked debates within the studio over game balance, difficulty, and the loot economy.
The PvE mode remains a limited test, with Embark collecting player feedback before deciding whether to make it permanent.
Funny how "nobody cares about jiggle physics" always turns into 400 replies about jiggle physics. If it didn't matter, it wouldn't need removing. Give it back and let people toggle it off. Room for everyone.
Classic had it. Forever doesn't. Bug or on purpose, nobody's said yet. But if this is a preservation project, preserve it. Physics is physics, @Blizzard_Ent .

30 million PvE rounds. That's what the community put in during the @ARCRaidersGame PvE test and Embark is paying attention. The test just wrapped up and they're saying they'll reveal their PvE plans in November.
We all know this game was BUILT for PvE. The AI, the world, the co-op loop, it all works better when you're not getting grief-killed by some clown while you're trying to loot. Embark, the data is right there.
Give us permanent PvE and watch the player count explode again @EmbarkStudios
I honestly think Blizzard removing the "jiggle physics" from the game is a silly and unnecesary move. People wonder why gamers get so f**king annoyed at the stupid changes these baby sitter, nanny state devs try and implement.
Blizzard needs the Bioware treatment. Pass the IP on to a studio thats actually capable of making normal gamer decisions.

400 people at BioWare just lost their jobs while studios like Embark and the Wardogs team are out here making better games with a fraction of the budget and none of the corporate bloat. This is the state of AAA gaming. Billions of dollars, decades of history, and they still can't figure out that people just want good games. Meanwhile AA studios are thriving because they actually focus on gameplay first. The big publishers are eating themselves alive. None of us should be surprised by any of this.
Are we supposed to be shocked at this news? upset? surprised? maybe Angry? I'm not any of those things.
You reap what you sew.. These companies with the legendary pedigrees have all fallen down into the vast hole of woke, DEI, bullsh*t.. Cut them off like the infections they are. Time to move on.
Steam Next Fest is live right now with over 8,000 demos. Sounds great right? Except almost 1,700 of them are "AI-generated vibe coded slop". Devs are literally pulling their demos because they're afraid AI tools will clone their game before it even launches. One indie studio cancelled their demo entirely over it. Steam needs to get a handle on this because real developers are getting drowned out by garbage that took someone 45 minutes to "build." Is This is what happens when you don't gatekeep quality?
