🇻🇪 I would like to take this moment to announce an independent effort to bring relief to families affected by the dual earthquake in Venezuela last month. Sharing this would mean the world for me. Thanks for your consideration.
For the past month, my mom and her team made of family, friends, and coworkers from her independent business in Caracas have organized to deploy relief kits for thousands of families that were affected by the dual earthquake in some of Venezuela's most populous areas. They have successfully assembled and delivered over two thousand relief kits containing food, sanitary supplies, and other essential items. Videos of the assembly process and delivery can be found on the next post.
Their effort named Kits Venezuela is taking monetary donations which will be used to purchase these supplies.
Their goal is to assemble and distribute at least five thousand kits to those who need it most. If you are interested in making a monetary donation through PayPal or Venmo, or checking out additional information, please click the LinkTree below and follow their Instagram - kitsvzla

Tactics aside, Ben Olsen’s teams always compete w/ edge & take on his gritty attitude.
Decision was probably made earlier & held until playoffs were clinched.
The Challenge: Elevate from consistent playoff team to legitimate contender.

Ben Olsen stays. A lot of credit goes to him for revitalizing a team that has been severely struggling before his tenure, but I think his style has been figured out and not many players can adapt to it.
I’d like to be wrong, though.

The Houston Dynamo have officially clinched a spot in the MLS Cup Playoffs after San Diego FC and Portland Timbers drew last night.
Despite not winning in the last month and a half, Ben Olsen’s team settle their third playoff appearance in his tenure.

Ben Olsen: “I can deal w/ losing & tying but not in that way. We get called a pk, that’s not a pk. Not an easy pill to swallow.
It’s naive to blow the whistle. Let the VAR fail safe work, let the both review play & call ref if they see a foul.”
