We are deeply concerned about reported violent incidents across a number of polling stations.
Serbian citizens need to be able to exercise their democratic right to vote in a peaceful and safe environment.
We call on all actors to remain calm, to act responsibly and refrain from violence and provocations and on the competent institutions to ensure safety of all involved in the electoral process.
Svima #uSrbiji želim prijatno i podsticajno iskustvo, dok na izborni dan koristite svoja demokratska prava i obaveze.
Kao i mnoge druge ambasade, @ukinserbia će imati više akreditovanih timova na terenu, gde ćemo pratiti izborne radnje.
UK🇬🇧 takođe podržava i međunarodne i domaće posmatračke misije @OSCE_ODIHR i @CRTArs, kako bi građani dobili pristup objektivnim i profesionalnim procenama izbornih uslova.

From the peak of #Kajmakčalan, you can see far below the lake where the Scottish Women’s Hospital set up their field station during the battle in 1916.
110 years later, we commemorated the costly victory of the Serbian army that opened the ‘Gate of Freedom’.

Proud to join members of the Serbian General Staff to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Battle of Kajmakčalan.
It was quite a slog to the top of the mountain. It would have been a herculanean effort laden with supplies and ammunition, and under relentless fire. Slava im!
There were over 4,500 Serbian casualties during the battle. It would have been many more without UK logistic and medical support, including from the Scottish Women’s Hospitals.
British and French Divisions also launched diversionary actions in support of the Serbian attack.
