Not denying our lot have took the bait and are now obsessed with Newcastle but weird to see these lot pretend we started it, they forced a rivalry with us while Sunderland were down, they kicked off every time we played up at their gaff for like 3 straight years
When and why did Everton fans start hating NUFC & their fans?
It's quite a weird one. So much vitriol on socials, from some, but not sure why it's a thing - & I've supported Newcastle all my life.
Dislike of Geordies? Might be. But don't think it's a Liverpool/Newcastle thing. Is it because they can't compete with their own proper rivals in the modern era? Misplaced envy/bitterness due to club(s) prominence/standing now vs historical?
I'd love someone to explain it.
