The man accused of killing Takeoff is asking to have evidence from the case independently examined ahead of his upcoming trial. According to court documents, Patrick Xavier Clark wants an expert to review certain evidence in Houston police custody, including bullets allegedly connected to the 2022 shooting. Clark has denied being involved in Takeoff’s death and is scheduled to stand trial in November.
