Looking for the calendar for 2020-21? It's available on our website at: tinyurl.com/AUSD-2020-21. Please note: The first day of school is now August 27.

As a reminder, AUSD has partnered with Care Solace to help students & families looking for mental health support. We'd especially like to thank @AEF_NewsFlash for donating the cost of the program for this year - a generous and tremendously helpful gesture. alameda.k12.ca.us/covidmenta…

AUSD will continue to provide food to youth aged 18 and younger through this Spring Break week (March 30 to April 3). As a reminder: food is provided from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays at Earhart Elementary School, Wood Middle School, and Alameda Point Collaborative.

Update: Our suspension of in-class instruction has been extended through May 1. For details on this - as well as a preview of what distance learning will look like when we return from Spring Break - please see today's update from the Superintendent. ow.ly/2Zxs50yVUkr

Starting this week, our Food and Nutrition Services Department will be serving food Tuesdays and Fridays, 11 am - 1 pm, at 3 locations (Earhart Elementary School, Wood Middle School, and Alameda Point Collaborative). Families will receive several meals' worth of food each day.

Due to the Shelter in Place order, we need to reduce the number of places where we will be serving food. Can you help us get this updated information out to your communities,? We appreciate your help!

Please help us share this information about where AUSD will be providing meals over the next several weeks. This food is available for all youth in Alameda up to age 18 - not just AUSD students!

Starting tomorrow (3/13), we will excuse all absences for students whose families want to keep them home. Our schools will be open for families who do not have readily available alternatives. Please see today's COVID-19 update for more information. ow.ly/ar3n50yKCrM

Update: Our schools are open Friday, and we are prepared to support students and families who don't have alternatives or options. But if you can keep your students home, we believe it will help us to better serve our community as we contemplate next steps. ow.ly/9QIL50yKGgf
