An incredible night! First time on Davis Diamond in Aggieland at the @aggiesoftball Winter Clinic. Huge thanks to @Trisha_Ford and @AleeexIbarra for all the pitching tips and instruction. I even hit a new PR of 61 mph! Still much to work on to continue getting better. Trust the process, put in the effort, and chase the dream. 🥎💪🏻 Gig 'em! 👍🏼

This fall season definitely hasn’t gone how I hoped. 🥎 What I thought was a pulled hamstring ended up being pain caused by my lower back, and after weeks of trying to figure it out, I found out I have a herniated disc.
It’s been hard missing most of the season and not being out there with my team, but I’m glad to finally have some answers! Huge thank you to my PT at Airrosti and everyone at Houston Methodist for helping me through this!
For now, I’m focused on getting better and hopefully getting back in the circle soon! ❤️🥎

Great time learning and competing at the @hotshotsnation Instructional Exposure Camp! Loved getting reps with incredible college coaches and putting work in with my teammates and others.
🥎 Solid work in the circle during live scrimmage play— great movement, spot-on location, and a lot of swings and misses.
💣 Hit 4 straight HRs to dead center and 6 total during the instructional hitting sessions!
Huge thank you to the coaches from @BaylorSoftball , @McNeeseSoftball , @TexasTechSB , and @RaginCajunsSB for all the great feedback and instruction!

Grinding through a tough stretch of ABs in our games, but I'll be back with some more work in the cages.
Very grateful to the college coaches who watched our games and to my incredible teammates and coaches for pushing me every inning!

Even though this weekend didn’t provide the outcome we had hoped for at the Champions Cup, it allowed for some great learning opportunities. Unfortunately, I did add another walk this weekend, making my season total - 2 walks over 34 innings. I struggled with my first pitch strikes and finishing batters. This weekend’s challenges helped me pinpoint specific areas of focus I can work on before the upcoming IG Fall Exposure. This week during my bullpens, I am going to work on breaking my spin pitches off the plate. Here are some of my stats from the weekend and a few clips of my pitching:

It was a successful weekend for my team! We went 4-1 at the Ronald McDonald Tournament. Over 11 innings pitched, I struck out 8 while allowing the opposing teams a total of only 2 earned runs. I gave up my first walk of the season, that means 1 BB for 27 IP. Thanks to my defense for having my back and to my catchers for working hard behind the plate!

Yall! I forgot to mention how awesome it was to walk around my school during our campus tour! And of course watching the girls play a double header and talk with our coaches! Tomorrow starts the last fall travel season I’ll have before playing as part of the Huskies family! So fun to see everyone @coachcortni1 @HCUCoachBert @CoachBaileyCole looking forward to the next game and our official visit!!
