Marine pollution response experts from EU and EEA coastal states and the European Commission gathered yesterday at EMSA headquarters and online for the 20th meeting of the Consultative Technical Group for Marine Pollution Preparedness and Response (CTG MPPR).

Italy, Croatia and Slovenia held a joint search and rescue exercise in the Gulf of Trieste on 22 September with @EU_EFCA and @Frontex, under #MMOAdria 2026. Information was also shared via #CISE.

This week we are in Dublin with @IrishCoastGuard hosting the workshop on the use of surveillance systems for marine pollution detection and assessment to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise and the sharing of good practice among Member States.

This week we were invited to the #IMOFossil2FutureForum, taking place in Singapore. We had the pleasure of sharing the results of our recent studies on the fate and behaviour of biofuels as marine pollutants and connecting with over 200 representatives from all over the world.
