You can take the Europeans out of Europe, but not our love of public transport. Thanks for the ride, @MARTAtransit! Atlanta, we'll miss you (but your traffic, not so much). 🚄🍑
Great conversations with @GaSecofState Brad Raffensperger, GA Republican Chair @JoshMcKoon, & @staceyabrams alongside fellow EU ambassadors. Across party lines, there's a common focus on how Europe delivers for Georgians—from partnering on energy security to creating quality jobs
Thank you @IrelandAmbUSA & @IrelandAtlanta for hosting our group of EU Ambassadors at the Ard-Chonsalacht na hÉireann.
President Carter wrote 32 books and spent a lifetime bringing people across borders into dialogue. In that spirit, we brought the EU Ambassadors Book Collection (our gift for America250) to the @CarterLibrary to show how Europeans and Americans have shaped each other’s stories.

From the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, Dr. King spoke to the conscience of a nation—and inspired the world. At @TheKingCenter, EU ambassadors and I paid our respects to honor his vision and Coretta Scott King’s work to carry it forward. It’s a responsibility we all share.

From aviation and manufacturing to fintech and global brands, Georgia’s economy is deeply connected to Europe. At the @MetroATLChamber, we heard a clear message from business leaders: predictable trade and reliable supply chains are essential. Thank you for having us @KatieBizU.
An iconic American brand with deep European ties—from leadership to production to supply chains. We didn’t crack @CocaCola’s secret formula, but one ingredient is clear: partnership. The EU and US fuel each other’s success, and keeping those links open and predictable matters.
The @CityofAtlanta is an increasingly important partner for Europe—as a business hub and a city focused on resilient infrastructure, clean energy, jobs, and housing. With Mayor Dickens, EU ambassadors discussed joint solutions that are both sustainable and competitive.
Thank you @GovKemp for the warm Southern welcome. With over $65B invested and tens of thousands local jobs supported, Europe is already a major partner in Georgia’s growth. Clean, affordable, secure energy is key to sustaining that momentum—the EU can be a strong partner here too
I may be tardy for the party, but I finally made it to Atlanta for my first visit to Georgia as Ambassador—and I'm bringing along my castmates (fellow EU ambassadors). Looking forward to seeing for myself why so many Europeans and EU businesses have fallen for the Peach State.
Russia’s missiles rely on hundreds of mid-sized suppliers.
This week, the @EUCouncil sanctioned 826 of them and 743 of their CEOs, the core of Russia’s military industry.
The largest set of listings the EU has ever approved.
New EU sanctions target an additional 1569 individuals and entities belonging to Russia's military industry.
Those sanctioned supply key components to some of Russia's most advanced weapons systems, including missiles, drones and aircrafts.

Today marks three years since the terrorist attacks of 7 October in Israel.
We honour the victims and stand with the families who still carry the heavy weight of grief.
We remember the young lives cut short at a music festival. And the long ordeal of the hostages.
The EU stands with all those whose lives were forever changed by that day.
The unspeakable savagery and terror of 7 October must never happen again.
The EU remains ready to help turn today’s fragile ceasefire into a durable peace, based on a two-state solution.
And remains equally convinced that nothing justifies terror.
I love books because stories open doors to new ideas, cultures, and perspectives. That’s why I’m particularly proud of the EU Ambassadors Book Collection.
This #BannedBooksWeek, let’s keep those doors open. Let books be read, shared, and enjoyed. 📖

As Sen. @SteveDaines prepares to close out over a decade of service in Congress, I was glad to welcome him and fellow ambassadors to the EU Residence. We had a candid conversation on economic security, trade, strategic competition—and the partnerships we can still forge together.
Europe brings real tech strengths: quantum, semiconductors, clean tech, next-gen connectivity.
On AI, online safety, and critical infrastructure, the EU & US face shared challenges. With @DIGITALEUROPE, I called for renewed cooperation, and for industry to make its voice heard.
China’s economic practices and unacceptable support for Russia’s aggression raise serious concerns on both sides of the Atlantic. Glad to host @ECDiplomacy & @USChinaBusiness for a discussion on how the EU and partners can reduce critical dependencies & strengthen our resilience
A beautiful way to welcome in the fall over the weekend, hiking Old Rag Mountain and taking in the views of the Blue Ridge. Virginia showing off its best.
In this busy week for multilateralism, I’m glad EVP @RoxanaMinzatu could join our meeting of EU Ambassadors. She shared her learnings from meetings in NYC and Boston, plus how the EU is leading on addressing the pace of AI development and its effect on jobs and social cohesion.
