Can a delay actually make a company worth more?
@CernBasher ran the numbers, and the answer is a big YES!
In his example, a one-year delay drops a new business from $574 to $513 in present value, about 11%.
But if that extra year shows the market is bigger and growth jumps from 50% to 60%, the value soars to $1,480.
That's how Tesla's safety-first approach plays out. The P/E looks nutty, but the odds keep rising.
