The end of Spooky Season is approaching! Need a place to discard your pumpkins? The Lakeside Ag Progam has you covered! They compost the pumpkins if they're no longer fresh and feed the fresh ones to the chickens. See the flyer for details! 🐔🎃🐔

Thank you, @EarthLms, for the tasty eggplant. I love that @LakesideMS_Lex1 students get to eat what they plant and grow. I smell a beautiful connection with our 8th graders’ “Omnivore’s Dilemma” module that @ClayCrawfordEdu started this week. @michaelpollan

LMS Ag never leaves me out. I can’t wait to wash these berries off and eat them for lunch. Something about fruit being grown outside the classroom makes it sweeter. @EarthLms @LexingtonMiddle @LakesideMS_Lex1

Shout out to Mr. Young for being a guest speaker in @EarthLms today. Mr. Young is a bit of a mushroom expert and spent his planning period sharing all about mushrooms with our kids today. #LMSLegacyTour #LMSProud

What is horseshoe crab blood still used in biomedical testing, when there's an alternative, animal-free product that can be used instead?

In loving memory of our incredibly talented team and family member, Christy Steelman. How lucky we all were to have you in our lives.
The comfort of a friend can be taken away, but the comfort of having had one cannot. Continue to seek strength in all that remains. Memories of her love remain and camouflaged in those moments is strength. You were one of a kind, my precious friend.

This is what the inter-web needs more of... examples of positive community partnerships! 8th graders @LexingtonMiddle taught @lexingtonelemsc kindergarteners about SC bats, then they played a fun simulation game of bats & mosquitoes. @EarthLms
