Storm cleanup for the last 7 days in cbus. Lost close to 30 park trees in the downtown and old town east areas. We’ll be 3 weeks behind on mowing by next week. We keep on rolling though.

What is everyone’s go to for long term yellow nutsedge control? I’ve had problematic areas for the last several years, and while I can achieve season control with a mix of sulfentrazone and halosulfuron methyl, it seems to return the following year.

I’m sure there’s plenty more things to be concerned about in Florida, and maybe I’m being insensitive, but there is an irrigation system running during a hurricane.

Photos taken 4 weeks apart. First mow today. Watering was a challenge with the heat. 3 weeks until 15k people trample it again.

One of our aged Ventrac’s (we have 2) is up for replacement. We mow 50 acres of high profile parkland with zero turns, Ventrac’s, and 48’s. Does it make sense to purchase a Toro 4500 D (9ft) mower or another Ventrac. I believe we can reduce mowing times by 30% with the Toro.
