Michael Olise’s reaction to Kane winning has made me smile. It’s a reverse Lampard meme. 😂
I had always assumed that Harry Kane wouldn’t get near the Ballon d’Or because he lacked the PR to beat the superstars that he was up against. His numbers, longevity and overall game are so deserving of it. Top man. 🫡

Following the tragic and sudden death of John Ritter, production on his starring sitcom, '8 Simple Rules', took a hiatus, allowing the cast to grieve and give executives time to decide how to address his passing. They eventually decided to have John's character, Paul Hennessy, die in-show as well, with his character collapsing during a short grocery store run to get milk. This took place in a two-part special called "Goodbye," in Season 2, where we see Cate getting a phone call, receiving the news.
23 years ago today, John Ritter collapsed on the set of his sitcom, 8 Simple Rules, during rehearsals after complaining of chest pain. He was rushed across the street to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center at 6 p.m. Initially, doctors treated him for a heart attack, but his actual condition was a Type A aortic dissection. He was taken into emergency surgery, but was unfortunately pronounced dead mid-operation at 10:48 p.m, just 6 days before his birthday. Following this, the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health was created by his beautiful wife, Amy Yasbeck to raise awareness, fund research, and educate the public about aortic dissection.
