It was great to celebrate 2 of our wards @CentreWessex receiving their CAS awards from @gailbyrneuhs today, D Neuro and F8. Anna and Natasha worked really hard to showcase the best of their wards. Well done! 👏

Busy day yesterday @CentreWessex, fab morning with our nursing leads making plans for international nurses day, heard about the virtual handovers project and went back to diabasics with @mbrp1 and @PaulaJDSN. Then career discussions, a meds round and clinical supervision 😅

We had a really engaging HCSW development day today @CentreWessex . We talked hygiene needs, de-escalation, working 1:1 with our patients, completing a GCS and manual BP measuring. Thanks to our volunteers for talking about VCs and positioning in stroke🙏

What did we get up to today @CentreWessex? 1:2 with @BEVSANNE making plans, heard all our IENs passed their @nmcnews OSCE, fitted some PerSo hoods @UHS_IPT, caught up with some students from @We_UoS_Nurses and @SolentNursing, and looked at many, many emails 📝 🥳 🖥

Yet again we’ve forgotten to take a photo 🤦‍♀️ but we had a fantastic day on our @CentreWessex nurse in charge development day today. Lots of shared experience and knowledge, new strategies to try out and a lot of keen beans chomping at the bit to take charge!
