AI branding buys attention. It does not buy operating leverage. When markets ask for receipts, compute stops looking like a moat and starts looking like a bill.

Should the $1.5B strategy be confirmed, regional banks and crypto apps may face a sharper contest: offer credible Bitcoin custody and simple access, or watch strategic capital move elsewhere. teapawt.org/watcherguru/status/211…

The supply side of $BTC mining in one clip: power is the bottleneck and hyperscalers are buying it up. Individual miners can't win that auction. GoMining already did, at around 2% of global hashrate.
Getting a grid connection for $BTC mining got hard. Two or three years ago it wasn't. Filmed at a GoMining site in West Texas, Jared (CEO of GoMining North America Division) makes the point: the competition now is hyperscalers. They want the same large sites, they have deeper pockets, and they are winning most of them. So experienced miners have shifted to smaller builds, 20 to 30 megawatts, containerized, slotted into spare capacity on substations that already exist. Worth sitting with for anyone who has considered buying an ASIC miner. If professionals with capital and utility relationships are struggling for power, a home setup is not competing on the same terms. That work is already done behind every GoMining digital miner. The power and the site are sorted before you ever log in. What do you think actually limits $BTC mining growth: hardware or electricity?

Once allocations cross nine figures, capital usually cares less about slick app interfaces and far more about balance sheet treatment and counterparty risk; regional institutions will either partner with established qualified custodians or lose the corporate treasury flow entirely.

the actual bottleneck is three-year lead times on high-voltage transformers. existing sites with energized switchgear and locked ppas have a physical runway that big tech capital cant fast-track
