Good to see at least one Brazilian fighter isn’t up Bolsonaro’s ass.
I’ll save my criticisms of Lula for another day, I’m just glad this guy lost.
Also hilarious to hear the Brazilian far-right complaining about election integrity when they literally had Lula arrested on bogus charges in order to win the 2018 elections.
Nikita Krylov is from Donetsk and he supports Russia btw.
The Ukrainian government bombed his neighbors and outlawed his language.
What the actual FUCK, @ufc?!
HOW THE HELL IS THIS ACCEPTABLE?!
During the SAME UFC broadcast, your English-language stream identifies Nikita Krylov’s birthplace as DONETSK, UKRAINE, while your ruzzian-language stream labels it DONETSK, rUZZIA.
ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!
Donetsk is UKRAINE. It has ALWAYS been Ukraine. ruzzia’s illegal occupation DOES NOT change that.
While Ukrainians are being killed defending their country against ruzzian aggression, you’re casually presenting internationally recognised Ukrainian territory as ruzzian territory to your ruzzian-speaking audience?!
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?
This isn’t some harmless translation mistake. You’re displaying two completely different versions of reality depending on the language of the broadcast.
@ufc, we demand a PUBLIC EXPLANATION.
Who authorised this? Why was Donetsk labelled as ruzzia? And what are you going to do about it?
You don’t get to recognise Ukraine’s borders in English and erase them in ruzziab.
DONETSK IS UKRAINE! NOT rUZZIA! NEVER WAS! NEVER WILL BE!

I developed my own critique of Imperialism based on my struggle for a free Palestine and then 3 years into that I finally read Imperialism by Lenin and recognized the absolute correctness of ML.
Classical economists believed that the credit system would eventually be subordinated to industry and used to finance productive development and infrastructure.
However, the only place where this has actually occurred is in revolutionary countries like socialist China & Iran.
The only way to reign in finance is through revolution and dictatorship of the proletariat.

I have lived in China since 1995.
I saw the poverty with my own eyes. Then I watched it disappear.
This chart going viral today tells the story > China extreme poverty: 91.3% in 1984.
Zero by 2022. No colour revolution.
No IMF lectures. No NGOs.
Planning, roads, factories, schools. And the West still calls it a "failed system"….
HMU if you’re a fan of neoclassical economics and want to debate this on a stream.
I will absolutely cook you, but it will make for good content.
The “miracle” of compounding interest.
This is possibly the most fundamental contradiction in modern capitalism. Debt grows exponentially while income does not.
Therefore, how are people supposed to pay off their debts?
Modern economists simply ignore this, and grifter financial advisors like Caleb Hammer & Dave Ramsey individualize the debt problem by claiming it’s the result of personal lifestyle decisions.
In reality, the problem is entirely structural. The richest people in our society make money by loaning money at interest. Then they use the money they receive in loan payments to issue even more loans.
This steadily grows the debt burden which acts as economic overhead draining societal wealth and ensuring that it isn’t invested in anything productive. What’s accumulated is not real tangible capital, as occurred during the Industrial Revolution, but fictitious capital in the form of paper or digital money.
A more backwards and parasitic economy than this could scarcely be imagined.
Neoclassical economics is ultimate form of bourgoies irrationalism.
Nobody can justify the existing economy, so the elites invented a fantasy world to imagine how they would like capitalism to work ideally.
Then they call it a “science” & lecture you on why you need to study it.
I can also take out a loan to invest in real estate speculation which creates no value at all.
Modern economics is fantasy world that’s completely lost touch with reality.
The vast majority of loans in the West today are entirely unproductive.
Nice story about the hot dog stand though. If only it reflected reality.

The ability to pay interest must ultimately come from value creation. An example:
I want to operate my own hot dog cart on a city street, which, knowing how much they make will improve my income. I can (1) save for 2 years, then buy the cart and start earning or (2) borrow and pay interest and start earning immediately.
If the cart gives me enough income to replace my former income and to pay interest and principal on the loan then I can increase my income by borrowing. Further, the lender increases their income by lending.
The means to pay interest comes from value creation--from people willing to pay for hot dogs on my city street.
After two years, the lender can re-loan the principal and can loan the interest, making interest on the interest.
This is compound interest and is a reward for fueling people's investments (like the hot dog stand), the money to pay coming from value creation.
Plz send me more AI written monologues about how the Western financial system is funding productive industry rather than real-estate speculation & consumer loans.

Compound interest isn't a contradiction of capitalism. It's mathematics, and apparently mathematics becomes oppression when it exposes the consequences of your decisions.
Debt doesn't inevitably grow exponentially. That's what happens when interest accumulates faster than you repay it.
Someone lends you money they could have spent or invested elsewhere, assumes the risk of never seeing it again, and expects compensation.
You voluntarily borrow it, agree to the terms, enjoy the benefits, and then declare yourself a victim when you're expected to honor your obligations.
And lending doesn't prevent productive investment. It's one of the principal means by which productive investment becomes possible.
But apparently, being too stupid to think long-term, too shameless to accept responsibility, and too dishonorable to honor your agreements is a structural failure of capitalism.
And your solution? Force someone else to suffer and sacrifice for your decisions.
You want the benefits of borrowing without the obligations of repayment, while condemning the very people who made borrowing possible.
No one owes you anything for your poor decisions.
The parasitism isn't in lending money at interest. It's in demanding that others sacrifice their property to relieve you of obligations you voluntarily assumed.
