This Saturday, October 24th from 9-11 am I will be hosting office hours at Caffe Nero on Congress Street! Stop by to say hello, grab a coffee, talk about neighborhood issues and connect with our neighbors. I look forward to seeing you there and talking with residents!
I chaired a City Services hearing on the status of Boston’s Rodent Action Plan, this is a public health crisis that demands action. Residents deserve clean, safe, & healthy neighborhoods. TY to our panelists, my colleagues, & the neighbors who testified or submitted testimony!
The City of Boston should not allow tomorrow’s event to go forward. I’m concerned about the lack of any community engagement and no public safety plan. The event is supported by city funds and with city approval. SB residents deserve to be included and treated with respect! – at Boston, MA
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Patriot Homes this afternoon. I listened and talked to the residents, most of them are veterans, about quality of life issues and neighborhood services. We also discussed services and programs for veterans and military families! – at Boston, MA
This morning, I met w/ Dean Karimbux of @TuftsDental in Chinatown. Tufts Dental plays an important role in our economy while also serving as a great neighbor & community partner. Their work helps strengthen Chinatown & expand access to dental education & care!

Thank you Councilor Flynn & Senator @nickcollinsma for organizing and including us in the planning process. It was educational to hear from all City & State partners.
Onsite this afternoon
@The_BMC supporting our CIR-SEIU union doctors fighting for a fair contract. I stand in solidarity with our union doctors. This is about respect and dignity for our healthcare workers and their patients. It's also about social, economic and racial justice!
I coordinated today’s public safety meeting with Senator Nick Collins, to discuss the 2027 Evacuation Day Parade. We heard updates from city, state and federal officials, including community partners and SB residents. This parade celebrates our veterans and military families. – at Boston, MA
Thank you to the Boston Police and Back Bay residents and community partners for sponsoring tonight’s community walk in the park. We discussed quality of life issues, public safety challenges, community policing and basic city services. Boston works best when we work together!
Before the City of Boston explores congestion pricing (adding another tax), we must address our increased spending. During these challenging economic times, it's critical for the city to be fiscally responsible, fiscally disciplined, accountable and transparent.

This story is disgusting and infuriating.
Everyone should be outraged over this.
City councilors and parents blasted Boston Public Schools for concealing thousands of sexual assault, misconduct, and bullying cases that involved abuse committed against students by their classmates, and at least one BPS staffer. bostonherald.com/2026/10/21/…
Please see @bostoncitycouncil hearing calendar for this week. Residents who would like to testify in-person or virtually, please contact central staff via email at public notices here: boston.gov/public-notices. Residents can watch the livestream at boston.gov/city-council-tv.
I filed a resolution to recognize lung cancer awareness month. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among U.S. Veterans, with Black veterans facing higher risks as well. #bospoli
Our city retirees deserve a retirement that provides a fair & dignified standard of living after years of public service. I filed a hearing order to discuss increasing the COLA base for retirees. I remain committed to advocating for our retirees, they built our city! #bospoli
