I think it would make more sense to show how the state and govt legislative bodies actually work. Maybe even make then speak to their respective contractors MPs and MLA s
There is a little part of me that is damping down the #eduin chat today - the topic can be sensitive. Hoping for a civil and learning driven chat, as ever. Teaching Politics - on the hashtag #eduin - at 9pm today.
Sure. Point them out to a resource/person who can help. I work with the @healthcollectif where you can find the relevant content as well as resources for someone in need. @amritat #SafeSpaces4Youth

Another challenge is that sometimes, people conflate #SafeSpaces4Youth with spaces for activism - and those two should not be the same. People who come to a safe space expecting support and a shared sense of community should not feel pressured to be activists per se
#SafeSpaces4Youth as democratic, inclusive spaces gives an insight into the concerns of the vulnerable, the oppressed.. they are stakeholders in public policy as spaces to know about and also to facilitate shaping public sentiments. #indopak #eduin

While we have our own histories, narratives yet the state has also made policies for people to people communication, for religious tourism and cultural connects. People need to support, encourage, pressurise..this is where #SafeSpaces4Youth come in. So there is hope! #eduin

The problem is akin to any diverse group coming together. There always will be such tension. Can only dissipate with more time spent together. Some knowledge of cultural differences helps speeding the process. #eduin
We have seen students of India and Pakistan beginning to empathise with each other. Photo: Cards made by Indian students sent to Pakistani students expressing solidarity with them after the tragic Gulshan I Iqbal park tragedy that had killed many children #SafeSpaces4Youth #Eduin

My own preconceived notions, my ideas about the "other" made me curious and encouraged me to reach out to the "enemy". For me, it's not about why I got here but what has made me continue. The importance of #SafeSpaces4Youth for conflict resolution has made me determined. #eduin
#SafeSpaces4Youth importantly involves safe hanging out place. Especially the pubs, clubs, etc, need to be safe. A lot of trouble few get into gets sourced there. #eduin
Loving the discussions - both deep and wide. #eduin #SafeSpace4Youth
These spaces help individuals and groups gain a collective voice and mobilize. More than anything, they serve as a space for nurturing and growth in times where large sections are discriminated against. #safespaces4youth #eduin

#SafeSpaces4Youth can encourage the vulnerable, the oppressed to speak out, share their experiences, seek reconciliation. In context of #IndoPak, we have seen discussions on partition, post partition conflicts and questioning of one-sided, biased narratives. #eduin
