Anyone else not have any issues at all in administering these tests to children? Our cohort of 96 did it and moved on. No drama. It was dead hard but ‘floods of tears’? Is it a culture some schools create? Just genuine Qs as I’m v. Confused by this (over)reaction. #SATs #Year6

The average life expectancy of a retired HT is 5 years beyond retirement at 60. This is not an outcome I have ever wished for so I've never even thought of getting promoted out of the classroom. The trouble is these extreme expectations are then passed down to teachers from SLT

Why don’t we apply the same level of governance to other ministerial roles? Ben Wallace and James Heappey are excellent and I’m no Tory. Funny how ex-soldiers do well in these roles. Wouldn’t it be great if we did the same for education and health.
