Lovely to see all the posts of #strathPGDE closing ceremony today. So proud β¨ Sad that I could not complete the course, but dealing with my dads illness was too difficult. I was able to be with him when he died on Monday and his beautiful garden in Wales is soothing my soul πΊβοΈ

Sunny Thursday in Dumbarton East π a peddle to Threads Wool Shop where the absolute master of crochet, @EducatingScout, achieved the impossible & managed to teach me the beginnings of crochet!

Introduced the children to the Stonehaven Fireballs - what a spectacular start to 2023 despite the dodgy (and long) drive home! Happy new year, lang may yer lums reek π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ π₯ β€οΈ
What a wonderful day celebrating my achievements with my fellow OU graduates today. Inspiring and emotional. Think I blubbed my makeup off in the first ten minutes. #OUfamily @OpenUniversity @OU_EdPrimary #firstclasshonours
Day 1 of placement in p2 and by 10am Iβd eaten a maggot π€£π€£π€£ #StrathPGDE
Saturday night. ESPV essay finally submitted, Strictly on the tellybox, doing a bit of work on my PPFβ¦.Iβm even treating myself to 2 hours of heating! I know how to live π π€πΌ#StrathPGDE
1) Setting up my PPF made me cry big ugly tears of frustration. 2) I have uttered more sweary words at my ESPV essay than I did at my husband when I was in labour. And that was a lot of sweary words. #strathPGDE #allinthesameboat #wecandothis πͺπΌπͺπΌπͺπΌ
Twitter often becomes the place to share success but rarely the place to admit what didnβt work. Iβm going to be more mindful to share both sides so as PGDE students we can at least be reassured weβre all going through a fast paced, scary learning journey together #wecandothis
Iβve not stepped foot in a classroom for nearly 2 years, and Iβm wondering - are windows still open? Trying to gauge how big a cardi I need for placement. Chunky or thinnish?! I donβt like being cold - but also menopause π #StrathPGDE
Iβm fairly certain this is a completely acceptable amount of chocolate for essay writing on a driech Saturday afternoon, and not gluttony at all. π·π€·ββοΈ #StrathPGDE @StrathEDU

I think this was just what the Dr ordered for Team 2 today. Therapeutic, team building and educational - all tied in with Cfe for the kids. Thank you all for a lovely morningπ₯°ππ¦βοΈππ @StrathEDU @UniStrathclyde
Had so much fun doing my STEM micro teach and sharing our overviews today! Itβs slowly starting to come together which is great news since placement is just around the corner! Well done team 2 ππΌ #wecandothis #StrathPGDE @StrathEDU
This is a great account to follow for adapting learning environments to be more inclusive by being more communication friendly. Lots of free resources for educators. #autism #differencenotdeficit #StrathPGDE @StrathEDU

Using visuals to explain anything, allows the explanation to be more inclusive and is more likely to be understood. Visuals should not be used to patronise but should be used to allow a clearer understanding.
First placement school allocated - Iβm over the moon and super excited! π₯³Things feeling very real right now! #StrathPGDE @StrathEDU

Hey fellow Glaswegians,
So we have a favour to ask....
Everyday, multiple times a day we are told "I had no idea you existed"
So could you all please share the hell out of us to let your people know we actually exist. It would really help us!
Thanks in Advance.
This thread might useful if anyone is researching Roma as a disadvantaged group for ESPV assignment #StrathPGDE
Out and about on campus today looking at the city landscape, making field sketches and considering the impact of taking learning outside. I think we can all agree art is not my strong point π€¦ββοΈπ€£ #strathPGDE
