After a tough few weeks into an episode, this resonates deeply. Trying to work but being so drained that your body constantly shuts down just adds to the anxiety. Then telling yourself to get it together but not being able to. The cycle continues daily.

Depression is NOT a choice you can’t just “think positive” and “get over it” no one chooses to live with stress 24/7. Living with anxiety is pure torture you can be happy and sound confident but still have sadness lurk inside you

Personal observation from current circumstances: We need to be doing a better job of teaching critical thinking skills in our schools, starting at an early age. It is as important, if not more so, than everything else learned IMHO...
