Why it all happened-
My intellectual property attorney identified substantial copyright concerns regarding JM’s use of my livestream content. He agreed that there were issue with fair use.
Separately, he agreed there were trademark concerns involving potential false endorsement and consumer confusion. JM displayed BHB products and referenced prior endorsements without disclosing that her brand affiliation had ended.
YouTube agreed and removed the stream. JM had the opportunity to submit a counter-notification regarding DMCA but did not do so before I withdrew it.
I voluntarily withdrew my complaints due to harassment of my business, negative reviews, and my unwillingness to negatively affect anyone’s income.
My decision to withdraw those complaints does not mean I will refrain from pursuing future actionable trademark violations.
FYI- Jm/j7 strikes were released 24/48 hrs after not 7 days as stated today - we will address this on my next drama live-
