Yeah, Forest targeted Frimpong with lofted balls in behind him constantly, especially in the 1st half. He’s a massive liability defensively & I expect most teams to do this to Liverpool this season until an internal solution like Szoboszlai at RB is forced

Lovely Mac Allister throughball BCC. Macca was very good 1st half, sitting never vacating his role in the double pivot (better tactical discipline than Grav), putting actual challenges in, simple line-breaking passes into feet. But he was poor 2nd half.

Forest targeted Frimpong all game with lofted balls in behind him constantly. We cannot move through this season with him as the starting RB, every team will do this. Szoboszlai played better at RB in the 20min cameo than he ever has in the pivot for us.

So, of the main priority needs coming into this summer, we've only accomplished 2, it's late August & new ssn has already started. All 5 of these were absolute musts to put a functioning caliber XI out there worthy of the Liverpool badge. Double pivot was the most urgent priority
