6 years ago, I was a video editor.
Today, I’ve got a very different perspective on what it takes to build a successful content operation.
In 2020, I joined Iman Gadzhi to help with his YouTube content.
What started with filming, editing and making thumbnails together eventually became a much larger operation.
30+ full-time team members, multiple channels, 2000+ pieces of content per month and over 8M+ followers across all platforms.
An entirely different level of responsibility.
I wasn’t hired as a Head of Content.
I grew into the role.
And I think that’s probably the most valuable part of the experience.
I got to learn the creative side, the strategic side, and the operational side of content by actually doing it.
Now I’m at a point where I want to share more of those lessons publicly.
A bit overdue, considering I’ve spent most of my career helping other people create content.
But better late than never.
told my prof that I need to publish my research work, he asked me to rewrite my thesis into a manuscript and I've been delaying for over a month now.
I sent him yesterday though, I just hope this man doesn't insult me ijn amen💀
