There will come a day when professional wrestlers are celebrated for their performances rather than judged by scripted wins and losses. LA Knight losing to Roman Reigns doesn’t diminish his talent or value. Without performers embracing their roles, bigger stories cannot be told. Professional wrestling is an illusion of real competition. A character can lose 100 times and be portrayed as an unstoppable winner tomorrow with the right storyline. Opportunities outside of wrestling should NEVER be determined by predetermined wins and losses, but by the characters we portray, our acting abilities, and how well we entertain audiences. It’s time we celebrate professional wrestling for the art form it truly is, and the men and women who bring those stories to life.
