GeoPol Haiku masterpiece: 500 million Europeans, expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians, who can't defeat 40 million Ukrainians, while failing to realize they are being invaded by 2 billion Muslims who claim to be persecuted by 9 million Israelis!

Israeli Elections: The Arab World’s Favorite Soap Opera Remember when Mexican soap operas swept Morocco in the 1990s? You or Nobody, Guadalupe, and others, dubbed into Arabic, had millions of Moroccans glued to their television screens. Everyone watched them. Everyone talked about them. Years later, Turkish soap operas produced the same obsession. But why were people so captivated by these stories of love, heartbreak, betrayal, and passion? I noticed something fascinating among people I personally knew: many watched because their own lives lacked the love and romance they saw on television. They wished their relationships resembled those fictional love stories. They lived their dreams and fantasies through the characters. Television gave them a parallel world in which they could experience what reality had denied them. Now look at the Arab world’s fascination with Israeli elections. I see exactly the same phenomenon. Israeli elections are the political soap opera of the Arab world. Millions follow every development, every coalition negotiation, every political scandal, and every confrontation involving Netanyahu. They hate the villain, Netanyahu. They cheer for the opposition. They celebrate Arab parties gaining influence. They fantasize about Netanyahu losing power. But beneath all that excitement lies something much deeper. They are watching a democracy because they don’t have one. For many viewers living under authoritarian governments, Israeli elections offer a political drama their own countries rarely provide: genuine competition for power, an opposition capable of removing a prime minister, and coalition negotiations that actually determine who governs. They are voting against Netanyahu in their imagination because they cannot vote against their own rulers in reality. And that’s the great irony. They passionately debate who should govern Israel while having almost no say in who governs them. They celebrate Israeli opposition leaders challenging Netanyahu while their own opposition leaders are either in prison, in exile, or playing the role of decorative furniture in their dictators’ parliaments. They dream of Netanyahu losing an election while their own dictators keep winning with 99% of the vote. And that’s why Israeli elections remind me of those Mexican soap operas. The woman who never experienced romance cried watching fictional lovers on television. And the Arab who never experienced democracy cheers watching Israelis vote. One dreams of a lover she doesn’t have. The other dreams of a ballot box he has never truly owned. The difference? At least the woman knows she’s watching fiction. The Arab viewer thinks he’s following Israeli politics. In reality, he’s watching a democracy from the political prison his own rulers built for him. And when the show ends, Israelis get a government they voted for. He gets another episode of his dictator.

Here — I am posting my entire Harvard debate, on whether the U.N. treats Israel equally. I decided to ask Harvard University why they repeatedly host and support U.N. rapporteurs who justify terrorism, including Francesca Albanese, Tlaleng Mofokeng, and Michael Fakhri.
The Harvard Kennedy School professor that I debated this week on the topic of the U.N. and Israel is requesting that we not post any social media clips from the debate. I never agreed to such a condition. What do you think, should we share video clips from the debate, or not?

BREAKING: Norway's 🇳🇴 wealth fund is losing billions after divesting from Israel. The fund dumped Israeli companies over the past year for political reasons. In that same year, Tel Aviv's main index rose 40%, more than double the S&P 500. Now the fund reports a $30 billion loss in one quarter. They let politics run their portfolio, and Norwegian pensioners are paying for it.

🚨 COINCIDENCE? How did a photographer from Agence France-Presse (AFP), one of the world’s largest news agencies, capture a gunman in the middle of a terrorist attack near Judea Junction? According to Israeli reports, the IDF is investigating whether the photographer had advance knowledge of the attack. Was it extraordinary timing, or did someone know what was coming? -@ynetnews

Macron says that today’s shooting in Trappes was aimed at migrants and the first terror attack in French history against a group of people targeted because of their skin and religion. He is naturally lying as there have been several such Islamist attacks in France in recent years which were carried out against Jews or Christians. - 2012, Mohammed Merah attacks a Jewish school in Toulouse and murders a rabbi and 3 kids - 2015, Amedy Coulibaly murders 4 Jews at the Hypercacher kosher supermarket in Paris - 2016, Adel Kermiche and Abdel Malik Petitjean storm a church in Normandy and murder the 85-year-old priest Jacques Hamel, by slitting his throat, and also critically wound an 86-year-old man. 2020, Brahim Aouissaoui storms a Catholic basilica in Nice and stabs 3 people to death. Macron stated today: “What happened today is a turning point. It is the first time there has been a terrorist act planned to kill our compatriots, our children, because of the color of their skin or their religion”

Why is the head of Tech for Palestine, an alleged "grassroots" 501(c)(3) organization that's been developing dozens of tools for the pro-Hamas crowd, speaking at an event alongside Turkish intelligence officers and the FSB? It's a mystery, I tell you. A mystery.

Of all the things that have been hardest to communicate in my life, this seems the most impossible: that our civilisation is not, by some law of nature, immortal. It has no right or likelihood to continue existing if it insists on committing harakiri. The people who are welcomed onto our airwaves, work in parts of our government and lead some of our political parties include those who would burn down this country in a heart-beat. They would look us in the eyes and kill us. And we know that because they have done it elsewhere. They don't do it at the moment because the time is not right. But when they feel it is, they will act. At which point I suppose people will have to decide whether they wish to be spectators at their own funeral pyre or not. ✍️ Douglas Murray Article | spectator.com/article/france… | @DouglasKMurray
