Hello friends, bothering less with this place these days as nobody seems to be seeing my tweets anymore anyway, so if you would like to stay connected, find me on insta as @lisapetertuebingen. I promise to get better at taking photos! πŸ˜‚

Final big deadline done and dusted before pootling off to the Mainland later this week. Now just to sack the bathroom fitter after leak number three and then we might be able to focus on packing. πŸ’ͺ🏻 πŸ•ΆοΈ πŸ‘— πŸ‘’ πŸ’Ό β˜€οΈ

This is an example of peepshow or tunnel book, a kind of virtual reality of the time capable of giving the illusion of depth and perspective. A XIX century souvenir of the Valley of the Rhine or Rhine Gorge [πŸ“Ή David Minkin]

A bit of a mystery: my crabapple tree seems confused about its direction of growth this year and is turning back on itself. Any ideas about what's going on here? πŸ€”

I am going to some amazing spaces these days, yet very happy to see this chap again last night, as it means I'm home. Been on the road for 22 days since the beginning of June (and somehow I'm no longer 25? πŸ€”). πŸ’ΌπŸš„πŸ˜”

You know how I said kids were optional to enjoy the @aardman Lloyd of the Flies summer activities at @The_RHS Gardens? Well here we are seeing like bugs at @RHSHarlowCarr and meeting cutie Abacus, the huge, purple woodlouse... πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ Worth a visit!!

Sound on to hear a #dormouse snoring πŸ’€ The ranger team (who are licenced to handle dormice) were out checking nesting boxes in the Teign Valley recently. This snoring dormouse was in a state of deep sleep called β€˜torpor’ to conserve energy. πŸ“· Thanks to Ranger Luke

To finish a week of plotting and planning @chesterzoo and @RHSBridgewater and filming with @DevelopExperts, what better activity than a LEGO Serious Play session with a focus group of young people? So. Many. Bricks. So. Many. Ideas. Awesome. (And a teensy bit knackered now.)
An exciting morning as our Engagement team prepare to engage in some @LEGO_Group Serious Play with a youth focus group. 🌱 Lego Serious Play is new to me, but I am learning from @EleanorPe! πŸ˜ƒ

Chester No. 1 on the Tour of 'Chesters. That lemur was the most chilled creature I've seen in a long time.
Our gardens education managers had an awesome trip to @chesterzoo today. Met some lemurs, did an escape room and learned a LOAD. Thanks so much to their awesome team! πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ™Œ

On my round of -Chesters this week (Chester and Manchester so far), I have reached Chichester, where we're at @TANpeppers this morning filming with @DevelopExperts. The scale of the operations is just mind blowing. So. Many. Peppers.

Exploring all the details of waste management and aneurobic digesters @BarfootsUK. Fascinating to hear how sustainable energy generation using waste materials has really started to pay off in a time of rising energy prices. Plus they end up with lots of fertiliser too!
