A few days ago, I was talking to someone about alphabet pronunciation, and I said Indonesian is probably one of the closest to how the letters are actually pronounced. For example, H in English is pronounced “aitch,” but “hi” is still pronounced “hai” not “tchai.”

True. I always get annoyed when someone apologises with “mungkin.” Like, nggak usah mungkan-mungkin yaaa, it’s a fact, just own up to it.
And I said I’m so ready to leave, but deep down, I’m still holding on to that tiny little piece of hope that gives me a reason to stay. That makes me feel like my presence matters, that maybe you still need me. But all I got in return was being ignored.
I always ask what curse have I been carrying? What wrongs did I commit in the past? Or perhaps, if I truly think about it, maybe I’ve made far more mistakes than I care to admit.
Sometimes people don’t see things from where I’m standing. And little by little, it wears me down, until I barely have the strength left to hold on.
Once I decide to leave, you won’t find me anywhere. That’s just how I distance myself and set boundaries.
