These guys are just so fun to have around! We had no idea how much we were going to love our miniature donkeys. They’re born friendly and just seem to stay that way.

Does it surprise you to learn that this mini donkey sold in an online auction today for $18,500? There were 10 donkeys in the auction, and they brought in just over $100k together. The unique thing about this group is that they all have longer wooly hair which is an uncommon but desirable trait in mini donkeys, making them more valuable. Donkeys actually make amazing pasture pets, if you have the right setup for them. Congrats to everyone involved in this sale!

I mean, we're not on a rocket ship yet, but still pretty fun to pass 200 users and 200 animals in the same week! Just need a couple more farms/ranches/rescues/zoos/breeding programs to hit that 100 mark for organizations. We also had our first legit scammer try to sneak through and spam message a bunch of our community. Thankfully they were pretty easy to spot with broken English, a location in "Paris" but a West African IP address. We've put a couple of new safeguards in place as a result, including a limitation that unverified users can only send a single message per day. It was nice to be able to ban the scammer immediately, though, unlike the experience most of us have had trying to report them here. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!
